“Dear Team, My first delivery of Hollyhocks only contained 4 roots of which two never made it. I was disappointed but your response has been amazing. “Disappointed. I ordered Tabasco bulbs. The size stated was 32 / 34 cm. They looked a little small so I measured one, 27 cm at most. Not as good as I purchased from Sarah Raven last year.”

Hello, Bulb sizes are approximate and supplied to us in size categories, each year and each harvest will yield bulbs of different sizes due to weather conditions, sometimes larger than expected and sometimes smaller. The measurement provided is based on an average size for their years of maturity - we do not measure our bulbs but try to keep all information up to date from season to season so we appreciate you letting us know there may be a size difference. “We ordered quite a few plants earlier this year and the quality has been extremely disappointing. Astrantia (3 ordered, 2 never grew at all and refunded for one, the third has never grown more than 2 inches - and keeps dying off). Had 3 chocolate Astilbe Shogun, 1 survived (barely) and 2 died. New Love clematis has never grown fully and I feel this is going the way of the others. I did everything as instructed when received, potted up in the time suggested and in the manner instructed. I would definitely not use again, a waste of money, time and effort.”

“Ordered narcissus bulbs. Arrived on time and securely packed. Unfortunately one bulb out of 110 was rotten. Not bad odds but states that all bulbs are thoroughly checked prior to delivery”
