“We first ordered samples as we couldn't make up our minds, a great way to see and feel the flooring before committing. We got a phone call shortly after placing the order online to confirm and arrange delivery. The quality of the flooring is brilliant and now we have it down it looks even better than we imagined. I would highly recommend FDF to anyone. Couldn't be happier.”

“Delivery of product should of arrived between 8-6 today. My wife has waited in all day and even got her friend to sit in and wait so she could go to shop to get some nappies for the baby. It’s now 18:39 and still no vinyl. This is the only weekend I was able to fit this product this month. I’m absolutely fuming and will never be ordering anything from yourself again. I can’t even ring up to find out what’s going on as the number provided doesn’t even ring out!! EVERYONE STAY AWAY FROM ORDERING FROM THESE!!!”

Dear Mr Harris, We are very sorry there was a delay in delivering the roll of vinyl flooring to you. Our offices were open on Saturday and phone lines are open between 09:00 - 17:00. “Fantastic service, quick and easy arrangement for a delivery. Wood looks amazing, but we didn't work with it yet, so I can't comment on the quality. Very happy customer so far!”

“Didn’t have the colour I wanted in stock so had to go for another colour, then when it was delivered only five out of the six packs arrived, that was on the Monday, today Thursday I am still waiting for the last package of flooring.”

Dear Ms Tomsett, We are sorry that 1 item was missing from the delivery on Tuesday, As we hadn't heard back from you since, it seemed this had been sorted. we have now dispatched a replacement pack to be delivered to you on an AM delivery.

“From the simplified ordering system which calculates your needs for you, right through to delivery the customer service has been perfect. I was called by a very pleasant man to confirm my order minutes after ordering and e mailed soon after that with full details of the order and delivery arrangements. Delivery was in good time and the flooring was well packaged and wrapped on a pallet, the driver was friendly and polite and did his best to get the goods as close as possible to the house. The quality is very good and the price more than reasonable according to the guy who is laying the floors. I would recommend without reservation.”

“Received a call on the morning of expected delivery only to be told that there was an issue and it would not be arriving until the following day. This is not acceptable as I had arranged for delivery on a specific day and I had a tradesman waiting to fit it. Very poor service”

“Flooring arrived with no pre warning call as advised. Okay flooring looks better in the pictures little disapointed with the quality, after paying delivery costs will use a local store in future as will cost roughly the same per pack and i can see what im actually buying.”

“The transaction between my on line purchase and delivery of the vinyl planks was seamless, very quick and without any problems. My only gripe was that no time slot at all was given on the day of delivery - (even am. or pm. would have been better than nothing) - so I was required to wait in all day. The product is of excellent quality but being a novice, the click/linking process when laying it, was tricky for me initially. It required both width and length to be fastened to the adjacent plank simultaneously - a feat I resolved by linking the row of planks together in a run the length of the room and then linking that length to the previous run - still tricky but with perseverance it worked perfectly. The overall effect of the planking when finished was excellent. You get what you pay for in this case. If needs be I will definitely use Factory Direct Flooring again because of their competitive prices and prompt dispatch of the goods.”

“I can’t comment on the quality of the flooring as only just got them in the house. I couldn’t check the quality as I couldn’t lift the pallet and would have had to open the pallet in the front yard. The delivery was awful. Delivery man complaining because he couldn’t get his van up the road (not my fault another car had parked badly). Then delivered the pallet to the front yard (on a busy st) and not even through the front door! I’m 8 months pregnant so the flooring had to sit outside at risk of being stolen for hrs until my partner came home. As you could imagine, he was not best pleased about having to then drag the flooring into the house.”

Dear Ms Kwakwa, Thank you for taking the time to write a review about the delivery service. We were quite surprised to see your comments about you expecting the driver to bring the goods inside the property, we do only offer a kerbside delivery as advertised on our website and as verbally discussed with you and as per the email confirmation after placing your order and also another one after arranging your delivery so we were somewhat surprised that you weren’t aware of that. We do try to make that as clear as possible on more than one occasion. With regard to the driver, I will pass your feedback onto the courier company. Considering he did take the goods inside for you, it sounds like he has gone above and beyond to help you rather than leaving the goods kerbside or the closest access point which is what we arranged with you directly. “Excellent product, ordered Aquaplank Grey 1.5 years ago and it is still going strong. Want to now fit in utility room as it's so practical, easy clean, warm underfoot (compared to tiles) and great looking. Really pleased that you still stock the colour”

“The only negative is the cost of delivery as most companies will offer free delivery when you spend a substantial amount of money,other than that a 100% company and great products. Very happy with our purchase. Many thanks Mr Glennon”
