Explorer Travel Insurance has been trading since 2011 and specialises in great value Single Trip, Annual Multi Trip, Winter Sports, Cruise and Backpacker travel insurance.

Buy direct and choose from up to 5 levels of cover with the added peace of mind that all policies are underwritten by Allianz (the world's largest insurer) and include gadget and cruise cover as standard.

We are based in Westcliff on Sea, Essex and are very proud of the excellent levels of service we provide to our customers both online and by our friendly and professional sales advisors. We don't have a maximum age limit for single trip policies and can offer cover for customers with, or without, pre-existing medical conditions.

“Thankfully we have never had to make a claim, however the web site is easy to negotiate & easy to add pre exsisting medical problems. The level of cover is good & the premiums charged are very competitive. We have used Explore for the past few years.”

“Completing the forms on line were very good apart from when it came to the country you were going to. I was going to Spain but had difficulty in seeing which Countries came underEu2. However when I telephoned to get this information the Assistant was very good at explaining this.”

“I had to make a claim for holiday cancellation due to my Wife's sudden death due to fatal heart attack on the 10th april 2019. I am still waiting for a resolution to my claim ( 16th June 2019 ) I find this delay totally unacceptable at this very sad time for me.”

“No claim made so unable to comment on how efficient you would handle a claim. Do not like the way premiums are loaded just because l have had cancer, now 3 years clear but still have to pay hefty premium.”

“called 'emergency line' for son ill in Peru and waited 35 minutes with no reply. Could not speak to them. If my son had been able to make this call he would have been charged at international rates and disconnected every few minutes. I wonder if they pay for a necessary hospital stay with a serious respiratory condition.”
