Explorer Travel Insurance has been trading since 2011 and specialises in great value Single Trip, Annual Multi Trip, Winter Sports, Cruise and Backpacker travel insurance.

Buy direct and choose from up to 5 levels of cover with the added peace of mind that all policies are underwritten by Allianz (the world's largest insurer) and include gadget and cruise cover as standard.

We are based in Westcliff on Sea, Essex and are very proud of the excellent levels of service we provide to our customers both online and by our friendly and professional sales advisors. We don't have a maximum age limit for single trip policies and can offer cover for customers with, or without, pre-existing medical conditions.

“I have just returned from a cruise covered by Explorer Travel Insurance, I have 2 more booked with the same insurerer but being invited to rate Explorer Ins I have looked into their success rate on paying out claims and this to say the least is dismal, I have used them many many times and never had to make a claim but what I have been reading about Explorer Ins will deter me from trusting the company with any future business......most 5 star ratings tell you they are well priced and easy to deal with but read the 1 star ratings and you may well like me change your mind. I am rating this as 5 star only because thats what most people look at.”

“Booked a holiday to Israel with family and missed our connecting flight. No further flight for 48 hrs so decided to reyurn home. Thought insurance would cover the lose of nearly 4000 pounds. Insurance claims company refused to pay any compensation after awaiting 8 weeks for decision.”
