Explorer Travel Insurance has been trading since 2011 and specialises in great value Single Trip, Annual Multi Trip, Winter Sports, Cruise and Backpacker travel insurance.

Buy direct and choose from up to 5 levels of cover with the added peace of mind that all policies are underwritten by Allianz (the world's largest insurer) and include gadget and cruise cover as standard.

We are based in Westcliff on Sea, Essex and are very proud of the excellent levels of service we provide to our customers both online and by our friendly and professional sales advisors. We don't have a maximum age limit for single trip policies and can offer cover for customers with, or without, pre-existing medical conditions.

“I have used Explorer Travel Insurance for a number of years and like that you can ring and speak to someone to discuss your needs. I am happy with their support... BUT... very disappointed in the much higher charges this time that I renewed, purely because of my age - I am now 70.”

“This is my second annual policy with Explorer. I haven't had to make a claim but I'm pretty confident that, should I need to do so, it will be dealt with promptly. The website makes it very easy to apply for a policy and it's easy to enter the relevant medical details for myself and my spouse.”

“While renewing my annual travel insurance on line I could not activate a discount code I had so I had to resort to using the telephone to sort the issue out! not normally a pleasant experience trying to get customer service with any company normally but to my surprise my call was answered within a minute the chap who took my call was called Ian and he was able to sort out the issue but only by cancelling my on line renewal and taking my & my wife's details over the phone during this process he gave me some extra and very helpful advice on my new policy Ian turned out to be the owner of the company helping out at a busy period This will explain why Explorer are so efficient and competitive when everyone follows the bosses example well done all”
