“Sent us to 4 different hospitals with a sick child who was deteriorating, spent 6 hours driving and in waiting rooms. Turned away by all of them and the company still were unable to offer medical care. Ended up paying privately oursevles with the assurance it would be refunded, then the claim was denied. 6 months later and despite complaints the costs have never been covered. Avoid at all costs!”

“We have been taking this insurance for many years. Fortunately we have never had to make a claim so I can’t comment on that. This year I did find it quite a jump in price and that’s the only negative I have.”

“A comprehensive policy covering my health issues and at a very competitive price. An easy site to navigate with clear and easy to understand questions. I initially bought a single journey policy but I realised after a couple of days I really needed a multi trip policy so phoned to see if I could change it. The operator I spoke with was very helpful and made it very easy for me to upgrade my policy with no penalty for changing. I am very pleased with my Explorer Travel Insurance.”

“I can only comment on the ease of purchasing my travel insurance online, as I did not need to use it on my recent holiday. The price I paid was comparable with other comparison sites but decided to go with Explorer because of reviews I had read.”

“Excellent website and very easy to obtain a policy on line but with the added advantage of knowing there is someone at the end of a phone if there are any issues or problems. Very useful emails before travelling. I have used Explorer before and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. Excellent customer service.”

“At 92, I have sometimes found travel insurance difficult to obtain. But Explorer have twice this year offered me the cover I have needed A friendly and efficient organisation”
