Explorer Travel Insurance has been trading since 2011 and specialises in great value Single Trip, Annual Multi Trip, Winter Sports, Cruise and Backpacker travel insurance.

Buy direct and choose from up to 5 levels of cover with the added peace of mind that all policies are underwritten by Allianz (the world's largest insurer) and include gadget and cruise cover as standard.

We are based in Westcliff on Sea, Essex and are very proud of the excellent levels of service we provide to our customers both online and by our friendly and professional sales advisors. We don't have a maximum age limit for single trip policies and can offer cover for customers with, or without, pre-existing medical conditions.

“I bought this travel insurance through a comparison site, which is something I rarely do. The questions asked were straight forward and actually seemed to be a standard template used by all insures. The cover offered and the cost seemed to compare very favourably with other companies, with the offer of free gadget cover a bonus.”

“I have a claim from last September when I was hospitalised in Spain. Explorer haven't paid as yet despite having platinum cover. They have guaranteed the payment to them but not paid. I am getting official letters for the amount from the hospital for me to pay. When I ring customer services they don't help and I get passed around to medical assistance, Allianz and a claim handling centre.”
