About Explorer Travel Insurance:

Explorer Travel Insurance has been trading since 2011 and specialises in great value Single Trip, Annual Multi Trip, Winter Sports, Cruise and Backpacker travel insurance.

Buy direct and choose from up to 5 levels of cover with the added peace of mind that all policies are underwritten by Allianz (the world's largest insurer) and include gadget and cruise cover as standard.

We are based in Westcliff on Sea, Essex and are very proud of the excellent levels of service we provide to our customers both online and by our friendly and professional sales advisors. We don't have a maximum age limit for single trip policies and can offer cover for customers with, or without, pre-existing medical conditions.

“Now why have I given it 5 stars. I have never claimed on a travel insurance so I will only find out if it is worth 5 stars if I do. So why 5 stars. Since tipping over the magical age of 75 I find that the amount of policies available to me has greatly decreased. This offered good cancellation amounts and reasonable excesses for a policy including cruise cover for a reasonable price. I could have bought cheaper but they were poor on many items of cover and excesses were high”

“First took out cover with Explorer over a year ago. I had a couple of queries over existing medical issues, which, over a phone call, were dealt with competently. Have now renewed my policy, for a further a year, following the confidence I have with Explorer.”

“Fabulous customer service. I used this company first for my parents and I had to claim for my dad, they could not have been more helpful. I then started to use them and buy an annual policy which is really cost effective. I had to claim for my husband a few years ago and again they could not have been anymore helpful. It’s the only company I use for holiday insurance as they are totally trustworthy.”

“Phoned to renew my annual insurance, spoke with friendly assistant. I asked for a paper document to be sent which arrived a few days later. I have used Explorer Travel Insuance for a few years now. Very helpful.”
