Explorer Travel Insurance has been trading since 2011 and specialises in great value Single Trip, Annual Multi Trip, Medical Conditions, Winter Sports, Cruise and Backpacker travel insurance.

Buy direct and choose from up to 5 levels of cover with the added peace of mind that all policies are underwritten by Allianz (the world's largest insurer) and include gadget and cruise cover as standard.

We are based in Westcliff on Sea, Essex and are very proud of the excellent levels of service we provide to our customers both online and by our friendly and professional sales advisors. We don't have a maximum age limit for single trip policies and can offer cover for customers with, or without, pre-existing medical conditions.

“reasonable price for 12 nights I always did insurance yearly I find this very expensive as you all put the prices up according to age every year it goes up i have mild asthma i don't take any other medication and the price i was given was more than my holiday i think it should go on any claims that have been had feel that i am penalised because of my age”

“When we arranged our travel insurance we were surprised at how easy it was.. What I did not know was that when I filled out the form first the cost showed £56.71, I decided to check it back, found a mistake and redid it. I filled the form a second time, the cost came back at £48.00, satisfied that it had been completed accurately I completed the transaction, and we have received the document. There was a nagging doubt about whether or not the two had gone through, I tried to e-mail you a few time but got no reply, so when I received my bill I see that the TWO applications had gone though and been charged I was disappointed. So I want to know why I have to pay for something I have not received, is it a mistake and can it be rectified.”
