Explorer Travel Insurance has been trading since 2011 and specialises in great value Single Trip, Annual Multi Trip, Medical Conditions, Winter Sports, Cruise and Backpacker travel insurance.

Buy direct and choose from up to 5 levels of cover with the added peace of mind that all policies are underwritten by Allianz (the world's largest insurer) and include gadget and cruise cover as standard.

We are based in Westcliff on Sea, Essex and are very proud of the excellent levels of service we provide to our customers both online and by our friendly and professional sales advisors. We don't have a maximum age limit for single trip policies and can offer cover for customers with, or without, pre-existing medical conditions.

“So far so good with easy to follow application form but I guess the proof of the company will come if I have to make a claim, came out with a competative price and includes cruises which for me is a big plus.”

“They offered the cover my wife and I needed and it was necessary to make a claim last year which was dealt with efficiently. However, I have recently been a little disappointed. Last year I purchased a single trip policy for a cruise we are taking in June this year. In the meantime we booked two more holidays and decided to take out an annual trip policy which meant we did not need the single trip policy. However, when I enquired about a refund or partial refund of the premium paid for the single trip policy my request was declined. This was some what disappointing as we have purchased a number of policies with Explorer over the last two years.”

“I am used to your system and find it easy to gain travel insurance online, with Explorer. However the proof of how good and efficient you are can only be judged when I have the need to make a claim.”
