Explorer Travel Insurance has been trading since 2011 and specialises in great value Single Trip, Annual Multi Trip, Winter Sports, Cruise and Backpacker travel insurance.

Buy direct and choose from up to 5 levels of cover with the added peace of mind that all policies are underwritten by Allianz (the world's largest insurer) and include gadget and cruise cover as standard.

We are based in Westcliff on Sea, Essex and are very proud of the excellent levels of service we provide to our customers both online and by our friendly and professional sales advisors. We don't have a maximum age limit for single trip policies and can offer cover for customers with, or without, pre-existing medical conditions.

“One can never completely rate any company until the product is delivered and tested/put to use. However I do hope that we will not have the chance to rate the product fully, but the service we have experienced up to now is first class.”

“I arranged travel insurance last year for month long cruise in January 2018 which cost me some £238 pounds. This year the same cruise in February 2019 is costing £444. Why the massive increase. The same medical condition as last year the only difference was that I am a year older 75 - 76. This was for myself and wife 71 - 72. You were the cheapest so all is not lost!!”

“Explorer insurance is user friendly. I book online. It is so well laid out. Medical conditions are easily declared and accepted at a reasonable fee. When I have to make contact with a member of staff they are courteous. I wouldn't consider another company.”

“Recommended via a newspaper article and used for a 6month visit to Australia and now a 3 week to America. No experience of a claim. Would have preferred an annual cover policy with top ups for extended stays (3, 6& 12 months) and America visits. For those of us fortunate enough to travel as and when the mood takes this would be good.”
