Ergonomic Designs is a UK based family owned company, and began trading in August 2001. Since then, we have come a long way and more recently we have branched out and now sell a range of kitchen sinks and taps as well as our better known bathroom products. We believe that every customer deserves the best service and products and realise that every bathroom is different, which is why we sell items from well known brands as well as our own branded high quality, but lower priced items. Use this Company at your peril if you want your goods delivered. Monday delivery did not happen despite paying for the service. Revised delivery for Thursday did not happen. No courtesy phone calls. Lied to about information. Items have gone missing! The 3rd delivery attempt arrived...…… since this issue I ordered a 2nd item and the team have made amends and the service on my second order was exemplary.

We spent over £1000 on bathroom furniture from Ergonomic Designs. We visually checked all items on delivery as demanded but did not check internally. One vanity unit had arrived broken internally which we didn’t notice until it was being installed. As this fell outside of their strict 48 hour window they refused to repair, refund or replace. Consumer rights state that the onus is upon them within the first 6 months to prove that it was not damaged upon delivery. They do not adhere to consumer law. This has left us with an unusable unit and their suggestion was to buy another. Buyer beware.

Hi, unfortunately damage has to be reported within 48 hours as the manufacturers and courier companies will not accept claims for damage after this. Your order was delivered to you on the 14th August and you did not contact us till the 18th December. After this amount of time the manufacturers will consider the fact that the damage could have occurred whilst in your possession and therefore they will not replace items for free. This is in accordance with consumer law as we do advise you on all emails, and on the delivery notes that you only have 48 hours to report damage. If you had reported the issue within this time, the manufacturer would have collected and replaced the item for free.

I bought 2 sensor taps for £almost £900. Until I got the taps, the service was great but since one tap is faulty and I need help to replace it, no one is supporting to deal with this issue. I have called several times to replace the tap but I have been asked to send pictures and videos etc. I can simply send you the faulty tap and replace it with good one. Please deal with this matter as a matter of urgency. Thanks

Down to the delivery, was asked a good day to deliver, my customer could do the Wednesday or Thursday not the Friday, a member of your team said Thursday would be the best day as Wednesday may be to soon so we booked for Thursday, on Wednesday a driver rings me and says he’s on his way which was no good as my customer went out , not happy with this he said he would leave it on for the next day, Thursday morning I received a phone call saying it was booked in for Friday (the only day my customer couldn’t do) extremely unhappy at this point we had to keep it for Friday and my customer had to arrange other plans , I was told I would be getting a phone call from the driver 1 hour away which I rang mid day to check this was happening, my customer had to go out for a bit mid day Friday and just by chance as she returned home the delivery had tuned up with no phone call whatsoever, this whole experience has been terrible and put my customer under a lot of stress, I haven’t checked the product yet,

Terrible company - one to avoid. Supplied me with a shoer enclosure with was damaged and then refused to replace or compensate. Customer service terrible too - no response to calls and emails for nearly 4 weeks. Avoid *** highly disappointed.

Awful, I was contacted by text to say that the delivery would be today. I have waited in and called to detail a delivery time only to be told that the delivery is now Tuesday. At no point was someone going to call me and let me know. I have waited in all morning as it was stated that someone needed to be in to assist with the delivery and that a charge would incur for a re delivery. Awful customer service. Regards, Elizabeth

order number 98882067 Supplied me with a damaged shower enclosure. refused to replace or refund. Customer service is terrible - no response to emails and phone calls, the company is blaming the manufacturer and has refused to take responsibility. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone. Very poor communication Have been waiting 3 weeks with response to my complaint.

Didn’t deliver when you said you where going to deliver, I had to take a day of to wait for delivery which cost me£150 as I’m self employed so not happy

Not brilliant customer service. We bought shower trays thinking you had them in stock and we could collect them the next day. We didn't realise it would take two days to get to your shop before we could collect. When we tried to collect you wouldn't let myself collect on my husbands behalf. Because we had a different surname. Despite us paying from a joint account and have ID from the same address. Not professional and very small minded. Will not purchase anything from your shop again.

Hi, we do advise on every page that not all items are available to collect immediately and some will need to be ordered in. Unfortunately, it is impossible to carry 32000 products all in stock at once in the number required which is why we advise on the site to call and confirm collections prior to ordering. We do also advise on checkout that the person whos name is put in the billing details must be the one to collect as this is to protect customers from fraud. As your husband ordered the item under his name and address it would have to be him who collected and this was advised on checkout. As you do not have the same surname we cant give you the items and as a company we would rather protect customers from fraud and have them lose money but it does mean that the person who orders has to be the one who collects the items. Most customers appreciate the fact that we are protecting them from potential fraud.

Delivered unexpectedly with little notice (email less than 24h prior), and found no one in as myself and my wife work on weekdays - something I struggle to think of as uncommon. I was informed due to the missed delivery i'd have to pay the delivery fee (£45) again. Disputed this with an agent on the phone, who was completely unable to see the flaw in this. A disgraceful process, will never use this site again and will actively dissuade others from doing so in the future.

Hi Chris, I can see that you placed your order on the 27th January. The order was despatched on the 30th January and you were sent a despatch email to the address on your order advising delivery was booked for the 31st January. As no one contacted us prior to delivery to advise that the day was not suitable, the delivery failed. As this was a large fragile goods order the items are sent with a specialist carrier and any redelivery is chargeable. Had you contacted us to advise this day was not suitable, we could have rearranged the delivery for free but as the items were sent out and delivery failed then the redelivery is chargeable im afraid.

There is no communication regarding deliveries - TNT are used and I have had missed deliveries and I cannot contact them! Their delivery system is very poor and frustrating.

Sadly, my very expensive toilet seat had a chip/dent in when i got it out of the packaging. Ergonomic stated because i bought the item on the 21st Sept and didn't check it until November (that's when the plumbers went to fit it) there is nothing they can do about it as it should be checked within 48 hours. They completely took no responsibility and are off little help.

I waited in a full day and my delivery didn't turn up as advised. They blamed their couriers but their couriers are their responsibility and part of their business. If they are going to charge for delivery then they need to either provide a better service or expect poor reviews.

Very bad and poor service ! Not worth to pay that much and get everything stuck,tray not come with the waste and deliver wrong riser kit! Some more when i rang bck the customer service said it was my fault ordered a wrong thing!2nd time i rang bck they found out it was the website error,Gosh! I definately will not recommend it,don't get yourself in trouble!

Hi Wong, please accept our apologies, I can see from the order that you requested the direct shipping option, where all items come direct from the manufacturer. This service is always quick and has a estimated 1-2 working days lead time which we show on checkout. I can see from your order the courier had delivered the following day, but had not delivered the waste despite it being on the order. As soon as you advised us of this we arranged for an FOC waste which was delivered on the on the 14th Sept. I can only apologise that the items arrived a day later. We do always advise not to book installers till the items have arrived and been checked as delays can sometimes occur with couriers that are outside of our control. In regards the riser kit again I am sorry we had the wrong part associated, we pride our selves on our data and this anomaly has now been resolved. As discussed on the phone, I have refunded back the riser kit and the total cost of delivery for this error.

I ordered a small plastic basket for my kitchen sink which is quite acceptable and weighs eight ounces. when I examined the charges I had been charged £14-00 + for postage and packing, never again

Order was not delivered on agreed days. This impacted my building project delaying process and incurred additional coast. Very poor service will not use this company again and will advise others to avoid.. if there was a zero star wait g I would opt for that rather than 1 star.

Hi Richard, please accept our apologies, I can see from the order that you requested the slower grouped shipping option, where all items come in to us and then are sent out. This service is always slower and has a estimated 7-10 working days lead time which we show on checkout. If you had selected the direct delivery option, delivery is usually within 2 days. I can see from your order the courier has delivered this yesterday on the 8th August which was the 8th working day from your point of order, but as you are advising they booked you in for Tuesday 7th August. I can only apologise that the items arrived a day late. We do always advise not to book installers till the items have arrived and been checked as delays can sometimes occur with couriers that are outside of our control.

£900 bath arrived cracked. I paid £50 for a courier who would only deliver to kerbside. Ergonomic designs have refused to collect and replace.

Hi, please accept our apologies that your request for us to collect and replace the items was refused. Unfortunately, the manufacturers will not accept any claim for damage after 48 hours. When you sign for the item you are signing for the item as received in good condition and unless the damage is reported within 48 hours the manufacturer will not replace the item. We do advise this on all despatch information and on the delivery notes, and any damage reported within this time will always be collected and replaced but outside of this time im afraid the manufacturers will not offer this.

Dont bother, I ordered a 1.5 bowl kitchen sink, over the phone, so as to make sure I had ALL the items I needed for the kitchen fitter to put the sink in. I was assured that I had all the parts needed. However, firstly, only half the order came, called to be told that they didn't know why they forgot the part, but this would be with me Wednesday. It didn't arrive, so I called and they resent it out and we recieved it on the Friday. Only for the kitchen fitter to ask where certain parts where and I said that was all I ordered as per what they told me. Secondly, the one plug, I was told was the right one, was the wrong one as it didn't have a waste and I had no waste for the overflow. Luckily, a local store had a rectangular overflow available otherwise, I'd still have a new kitchen with no sink!

Haven't had delivery phoned to find out what was going on . Told that I would get a call back. That hasn't happened. No communication from couriers on Ergonomic. Yet have paid in full
