Ergonomic Designs is a UK based family owned company, and began trading in August 2001. Since then, we have come a long way and more recently we have branched out and now sell a range of kitchen sinks and taps as well as our better known bathroom products. We appreciate that you have highlighted that the advertised item had its price reduced by £25 shortly after you bought it, our prices are based on our current buying prices and this would only drop if the supplier has dropped the price we pay. Initial delivery prompt. Faulty product - it happens. Wanted video evidence and then expected me to pay for return. Refused to replace or refund until tested. Took weeks to test as they blamed the supplier and refused to do anything until they heard back from their supplier to confirm fault. My agreement was with Ergonomic and not the supplier. As far as I am concerned if I buy a faulty tin of bins I get the refund from Tesco’s and not Heinz

Still waiting for item, back and forth with emails as you have no contact number for after sales. Courier delivered to incorrect address so far 3 days of investigation and no sink for me. All issues could have been sorted in less time with a phone conversation rather than emails. Extremely poor service and won’t be using again!

The basins in their images are just for illustration purposes. I bought a vanity unit only for the delivered basin to be not only different but much worse that the pictured item I bought. It's nothing short of false advertising and delivering the wrong goods.

Order was to be delivered one day so I waited in all day. It arrived the next day. The builder came to install the shower enclosure but part of it was not manufactured correctly so he left the house and told me that he would come back when the manufacturing problem had been resolved for an additional fee of £80 + vat. After 3 days I was instructed to adjust the track position on the glass with a hammer. This the builder did only to find that the panel still did not fit as the glass was too big compared to the other panel. A screw is now visible in the shower cubicle and the company has absolved itself of all responsibility. If you want a shower enclosure consider the above first. I wish I had gone else where.

Checked in stock, all in stock, paid £44 for delivered day and then told very delayed - apparently because the supplier hadn’t processed the order and Ergonomic Designs took days to realise it hadn’t been processed. So neither in stock nor on it to solve the problem and so far not refunding delivery cost either, plus all the hassle of not having the products. Total rubbish.

Hi, i am sorry this did not quite meet your estimated delivery date, the goods were in stock as advised however they had to come to us from the distributor for grouped delivery. Please do not give your money to this company, if anything goes wrong you will have such a stressful experience with them. I had a bath delivered with a cracked plug hole and they won't refund my money, I'm now left with a £600 broken bath before Christmas. They have no customer carline service to speak to anyone over the phone. Everything has to be done via email which is convenient for them with not having to deal with complaints in any honest reputable way. Please don't get stung by this terrible company I'm out of pocket and stressed.

Hi, I am sorry yourself and your friends that have not purchased from us feel the need to leave these reviews everywhere however this is unjustified. You initially placed two separate orders which we did combine for yourself and refunded the second delivery charge to save you paying twice for this, the orders then came out and were delivered correctly and on time within the ETA offered. The bath was delivered to yourself on the 6th October and signed for in good condition. You then have 48 hours to notify us of any damage, this can be extended slightly within reason if the damage is reported quickly. The chip in the enamel of your bath is a significant chip in the base of the bath that would have been immediately obvious upon an initial inspection when received. The bath has then been in your care for 5 weeks before any notification of damage, sadly this is why no refund can be offered on the bath. As advised an enamel repair kit would successfully resolve this issue. We have a dedicated customer care team who deal with all our after sales via live chat and email and all issues dealt with effectively and quickly this way, as most after care issues will require images etc this is the best way to handle this and frees up queue times on the phone and a phone call will not change how we handle our aftersales. We will always do our best for our customers and resolve issues as quickly and amicably as possible with many of our customers praising our level of service. We are a small team who take a personal interest in every customer we deal with. After speaking with yourself it was quite clear the request for a phone call was to enable you to shout and offer abuse and threats to try and force a refund this way, unfortunately this approach does not change the fact that a refund cannot be offered. Making personal comments about individuals doing their jobs is also unnecessary. We have offered a cost price replacement but advised an enamel repair kit will resolve the problem you have. I am sorry we have not been able to meet your expectations on this occasion however we have done everything we can to help you. Kind regards Ergonomic Designs

Worst customer service I have ever experienced! Everything through email as they don’t want to talk on the phone first and last time I will order anything from this company. Ordered two tile backer kits turned out I needed 12mm not 6mm weeks of slow responses asked to get just the boards swapped out NO the system would not let them do it. I now have to send the complete kits back at a cost of £45 and reorder with another delivery cost of £45 I don’t think so, waste of money on top of this my bathroom install will now be delayed by two months because of how slow and painful the customer service is, not a very responsible company when it comes to the environment doing it this way, safe to say I will be taking my business elsewhere. The fact I have to give 1 star is also outrageous. Please don’t reply you are sorry etc etc as you don’t mean it.

hello, All of our customer service is done online as this cuts down queue times on the phone and more often than not images etc will be required for any aftersales enquiry. I have had a look through all the emails and can see the longest you have waited for a reply is over the weekend when we are closed. We pride ourselves on our customer service and i can see my colleagues responses to yourself have been quick and helpful and have done their best to resolve your issues. I can see you have first complained to be missing a part, this was not a part included in the set purchased, you believed we had advised this prior to purchase however we have no calls from either number you provided and the number you have advised you called seems to be for uk bathroom store, of course we cannot comment on what they have or have not advised you on what they are selling but what you have received from us was delivered correctly. You have then realised you have purchased the wrong item for your needs and have requested to return the items, despite this being outside of the returns period this has been agreed and you have asked us to arrange collection of the goods at the £45 quoted, of course you do not have to have the items collected if you can find a suitable courier to get them returned undamaged for less you are more than welcome to do this. Sadly carriage is always chargeable and the courier does charge us both for returns carriage and delivery which is why you do have to pay for carriage both ways, although it is completely up to you if you wish to purchase the alternative kit from ourselves the return will be processed either way. We have then done our best to accommodate a collection date to suit yourself which has been arranged for tomorrow. It is quite normal practice for a return to be arranged and a new order placed if different items are required, funds cannot be transferred between different orders unfortunately. I understand you are frustrated to have an item that you can't use and that information from another company may have been incorrect however we have made no error and I can see the customer service we have offered has not been poor. kind regards Ergonomic Designs

For tradesman avoid used to be good company don't know whats happened to them but there set up for online ordering charges you for delivery after u spend 1k with them. Ill be sourcing my bathroom equipment elsewhere form now on. Not going to go into other issues I had as a bathroom fitter gd luck.

Hi, Apologies you have been disappointed on this occasion, we have not changed our online ordering system at all and I can see on all your previous orders you have paid a delivery charge, unfortunately we do have to charge this as the couriers charge us but we do only pass on what we are charged. Terrible. 1 week on still not received product. Paid £45 for next day delivery Had to cancel job. Had to delay carpenters, tilers, plasters. Loosing money, can't actually phone and talk to anyone. Won't be using again.

Hi, I am really sorry the manufacturers courier let us down on this occasion, the delivery service was not advertised as next day however it should have been much quicker than it was to get to you so huge apologies for this. Our shower broke just over a year after buying it. We were then told by Ergonomic that the manufacturer would not replace it so we had to pay for new parts plus £6.50 delivery. The new shower riser arrived only for it to be a foot smaller than the original shower we bought. We are now 4 weeks into a broken shower and still no resolution. Absolutely awful customer service and product. Will not be buying from here again.

it is a building site and we have written on the door to ring the bell but the delivery didn't just knocked which noone in the outhouse could here hence the message on the front door RING THE BELL !!!! terrible

I ordered from this website on the basis of the delivery timings but the tracking process with XDP was terrible. Got 2 text for my two parts of the order but it never arrived in the 2 hour window on Friday. Tried chasing but clearly no one working Saturday or delivering on Saturday either. Set our project back a week now. Still not sure where my order is right now…

Hi, I can see on your order that the Estimated Date of Delivery at the point of order was the 23rd Feb. You will be able to see this too on your order acknowedgment. We managed to get the item despatched quickly and the courier was due to deliver the order on Friday 18th but unfortunately there were delays due to the biggest storm the UK had seen for decades and the delivery to you was not completed. I can see that the courier has now completed the delvery and your order is now complete on the 21st Feb. 2 days earlier than we estimated. Im not sure how we have set your project back based on delivering earlier than we advised but i apologise that you feel this way.

The order was made up of two items billed separately, one was good one was poor. I complained and was told to return both or nothing. I am £60 down, poor service. I wouldn't shop with them again. Lawrence Booth
