Ergonomic Designs is a UK based family owned company, and began trading in August 2001. Since then, we have come a long way and more recently we have branched out and now sell a range of kitchen sinks and taps as well as our better known bathroom products. We believe that every customer deserves the best service and products and realise that every bathroom is different, which is why we sell items from well known brands as well as our own branded high quality, but lower priced items. Poor customer service - wrong advice given initially. The wrong product was sent to us. Poor value for money - We were charged £45 for a delicate item delivery of a 2mx1.6m glass shower screen - they sent 1 man in a white van for this. He couldn’t lift the product. Poor organisation - 1 man in a van was sent to collect the inappropriate product. He couldn’t lift it. We were refunded 10 days after the item was returned but charged 2x£45 for the ‘delicate item’ collection My advice - avoid this company. I’m pleased to be rid of them.

the products were good when they finally arrived but the staff took a negative and unhelpful stance on a couple of relatively trivial issues. also I asked a couple of questions by email which were answered with little or no effort in a take it or leave it manner.

Sadly the delivery company let them down. Changed the delivery date without communication and then failed to deliver on the new date too. Had trades people in ready to fit which incurred costs greater than any saving made shopping around. Wouldn't recommend if needed to a deadline and I had to source an alternative locally to avoid further costs.

I would not touch this company, £30 for delivery and £45 for return and if a replacement is required no exchange arranged you have to pay another £30. Day light robbery!

It’s been a disaster so far. No sign of my order nearly 10 days after ordering. Just an email trail trying to find the merchandise - going backwards and forwards.

HI Eske, please accept our apologies your order did not arrive. As you are aware the TNT delivery driver delivered it on the 8th Sept at 10:29 which was the day after you placed your order. However, you notifed us that he had not delivered it to your property and that you had not received it. We opened a case with TNT and have arranged for a replacement to be sent out to you

I made 2 orders, we only unpacked them when the plumber came so as to keep them safe, we kept them exactly where the delivery drivers left them. The shower enclosure was damaged which you wouldn’t do anything about as it was longer than 24 hours, then the shower waste was split, there was no point in complaining at this point as it was clear it would do nothing about it. A great shame as I have 7 bathrooms in total to refurbish as I have a B&B. So the goods were damaged & the customer service was rubbish, so I wouldn’t be using you again & I most certainly won’t be recommending you

I'm sure when I receive the item I ordered it will be fine but as yet I have still not received it. The delivery date was supposed to have been 14th and this is now 18th.

I could not recommend this company. Purchased based on the photos and description in the product listing. I was sent something different to what was ordered and Ergonomic Designs made no attempt to rectify the situation. Simply poor customer service.

Hi, delivery was attempted on Wednesday but was advised the delivery was not for them at the delivery address on your order. Your delivery has been rebooked for tomorrow. Please can you contact customer services to confirm your correct delivery address.

Extremely disappointed with the delivery. Had to call in the afternoon to then be told that the delivery driver had ran out of time to make our delivery that day before 2pm. A day that had now been wasted waiting on a delivery that didn’t come and not we have had to day the fitting of the item we ordered for another 2 weeks causing massive inconvenience. We would have at least appreciated knowing that the driver only worked half a day and hadn’t managed to fit our delivery in.

Item is broken, however as I did not unpack until 5 days after delivery, you will take no responsibility. Would not recommend you or order from you again

Use this Company at your peril if you want your goods delivered. Monday delivery did not happen despite paying for the service. Revised delivery for Thursday did not happen. No courtesy phone calls. Lied to about information. Items have gone missing! The 3rd delivery attempt arrived...…… since this issue I ordered a 2nd item and the team have made amends and the service on my second order was exemplary.

We spent over £1000 on bathroom furniture from Ergonomic Designs. We visually checked all items on delivery as demanded but did not check internally. One vanity unit had arrived broken internally which we didn’t notice until it was being installed. As this fell outside of their strict 48 hour window they refused to repair, refund or replace. Consumer rights state that the onus is upon them within the first 6 months to prove that it was not damaged upon delivery. They do not adhere to consumer law. This has left us with an unusable unit and their suggestion was to buy another. Buyer beware.

Hi, unfortunately damage has to be reported within 48 hours as the manufacturers and courier companies will not accept claims for damage after this. Your order was delivered to you on the 14th August and you did not contact us till the 18th December. After this amount of time the manufacturers will consider the fact that the damage could have occurred whilst in your possession and therefore they will not replace items for free. This is in accordance with consumer law as we do advise you on all emails, and on the delivery notes that you only have 48 hours to report damage. If you had reported the issue within this time, the manufacturer would have collected and replaced the item for free.

I bought 2 sensor taps for £almost £900. Until I got the taps, the service was great but since one tap is faulty and I need help to replace it, no one is supporting to deal with this issue. I have called several times to replace the tap but I have been asked to send pictures and videos etc. I can simply send you the faulty tap and replace it with good one. Please deal with this matter as a matter of urgency. Thanks

Down to the delivery, was asked a good day to deliver, my customer could do the Wednesday or Thursday not the Friday, a member of your team said Thursday would be the best day as Wednesday may be to soon so we booked for Thursday, on Wednesday a driver rings me and says he’s on his way which was no good as my customer went out , not happy with this he said he would leave it on for the next day, Thursday morning I received a phone call saying it was booked in for Friday (the only day my customer couldn’t do) extremely unhappy at this point we had to keep it for Friday and my customer had to arrange other plans , I was told I would be getting a phone call from the driver 1 hour away which I rang mid day to check this was happening, my customer had to go out for a bit mid day Friday and just by chance as she returned home the delivery had tuned up with no phone call whatsoever, this whole experience has been terrible and put my customer under a lot of stress, I haven’t checked the product yet,

Terrible company - one to avoid. Supplied me with a shoer enclosure with was damaged and then refused to replace or compensate. Customer service terrible too - no response to calls and emails for nearly 4 weeks. Avoid *** highly disappointed.

Awful, I was contacted by text to say that the delivery would be today. I have waited in and called to detail a delivery time only to be told that the delivery is now Tuesday. At no point was someone going to call me and let me know. I have waited in all morning as it was stated that someone needed to be in to assist with the delivery and that a charge would incur for a re delivery. Awful customer service. Regards, Elizabeth
