Ergonomic Designs is a UK based family owned company, and began trading in August 2001. Since then, we have come a long way and more recently we have branched out and now sell a range of kitchen sinks and taps as well as our better known bathroom products. We believe that every customer deserves the best service and products and realise that every bathroom is different, which is why we sell items from well known brands as well as our own branded high quality, but lower priced items. Worst customer service I have ever experienced! Everything through email as they don’t want to talk on the phone first and last time I will order anything from this company. Ordered two tile backer kits turned out I needed 12mm not 6mm weeks of slow responses asked to get just the boards swapped out NO the system would not let them do it. I now have to send the complete kits back at a cost of £45 and reorder with another delivery cost of £45 I don’t think so, waste of money on top of this my bathroom install will now be delayed by two months because of how slow and painful the customer service is, not a very responsible company when it comes to the environment doing it this way, safe to say I will be taking my business elsewhere. The fact I have to give 1 star is also outrageous. Please don’t reply you are sorry etc etc as you don’t mean it.

hello, All of our customer service is done online as this cuts down queue times on the phone and more often than not images etc will be required for any aftersales enquiry. I have had a look through all the emails and can see the longest you have waited for a reply is over the weekend when we are closed. We pride ourselves on our customer service and i can see my colleagues responses to yourself have been quick and helpful and have done their best to resolve your issues. I can see you have first complained to be missing a part, this was not a part included in the set purchased, you believed we had advised this prior to purchase however we have no calls from either number you provided and the number you have advised you called seems to be for uk bathroom store, of course we cannot comment on what they have or have not advised you on what they are selling but what you have received from us was delivered correctly. You have then realised you have purchased the wrong item for your needs and have requested to return the items, despite this being outside of the returns period this has been agreed and you have asked us to arrange collection of the goods at the £45 quoted, of course you do not have to have the items collected if you can find a suitable courier to get them returned undamaged for less you are more than welcome to do this. Sadly carriage is always chargeable and the courier does charge us both for returns carriage and delivery which is why you do have to pay for carriage both ways, although it is completely up to you if you wish to purchase the alternative kit from ourselves the return will be processed either way. We have then done our best to accommodate a collection date to suit yourself which has been arranged for tomorrow. It is quite normal practice for a return to be arranged and a new order placed if different items are required, funds cannot be transferred between different orders unfortunately. I understand you are frustrated to have an item that you can't use and that information from another company may have been incorrect however we have made no error and I can see the customer service we have offered has not been poor. kind regards Ergonomic Designs

A truly unexpected, absolutely exceptional customer service experience. After noticing an issue with one set of shower doors purchased from Ergonomic Design, some 3 weeks after delivery, and being faced with only an email option to contact them I was very sceptical that my issue would be resolved. I needn't have been concerned, after reaching out by email, I was quickly replied to by Lynn, who was very professional and understanding. My new doors were sent out next day and the faulty ones collected. During a very stressful build this was a very welcome relief. Exceptional service Lynn - thank you !! Highly recommend Ergonomic. Oh, and I love my shower doors now. Lets hope they last but I take comfort that should a fault occur, Im in good hands

25% restocking fee, just to take back an item which was brand new and in perfect condition? What a rip off. We spent thousands with them, and returned one item, plus paid to send it back (no problem with that). Clearly don't give a *** about customer service. Go somewhere else, avoid!!

For tradesman avoid used to be good company don't know whats happened to them but there set up for online ordering charges you for delivery after u spend 1k with them. Ill be sourcing my bathroom equipment elsewhere form now on. Not going to go into other issues I had as a bathroom fitter gd luck.

Hi, Apologies you have been disappointed on this occasion, we have not changed our online ordering system at all and I can see on all your previous orders you have paid a delivery charge, unfortunately we do have to charge this as the couriers charge us but we do only pass on what we are charged. The fact that I have received an email to write a review for an order they had to refund as could not deliver as agreed says it all about this companies service! They asked me to wait In all day to sign for something even though they had our private gate code and then failed to deliver and then told me I had to take another day off work as they needed a signature even though I advised a coded secure place to leave. Use at your own risk of time and effort

I am sorry to hear that you are not happy with our service, however we feel that the account you have portrayed above is very misleading and not accurate to the events that happened. You emailed us on the day of delivery, which we had emailed to advise of, advising that the telephone number you had provided was incorrect, and that you also had a gate code. This was not provided in the customer notes section when the order was placed, and was unfortunately too late to pass onto the driver. He was also unable to contact you, as the number provided when you placed your order, was incorrect. When the team replied to you to say that they would do their best to get the correct details and gate code to the driver before he attempted delivery, you then advised that there wasn't actually anyone at home to take delivery of the order, but that your partner might be at home when the driver arrived, if not you would like delivery the following day, which the team did reply to to say wasn't going to be doable as delivery was already out. By this stage it was into the afternoon, and delivery had already been attempted, but the driver could not gain access, and no one was available to sign for the items. We offered an alternative date for delivery, but you advised no one could be at home at any time to sign for the delivery, and as we cannot just leave items (this is to protect ourselves and you), that you would like the order cancelled for refund, which we promptly obliged with. We do advise this in our terms and conditions which you have to accept prior to placing an order, in our delivery information section, and on your despatch email. I am surprised to see that you are unhappy with the service when you have had extensive contact with our team and at no point expressed this, in fact you have thanked us for our help and apologised for providing the incorrect details. We would have been happy to address this for you, if you had raised any concerns at that point.

Used this company about 10 years ago and needed a spare part, not only did they have my records but knew exactly what part I needed. Their bathroom fixtures are 1st rate (no plastic pieces) my shower still looks as new which in a hard water area is amazing 👍👍👍

We had a VitrA vanity unit and ceramic sink delivered promptly by an excellent delivery service. Pleasantly surprised by the quality of both products, very good value. Unfortunately the sink had a small blemish beneath the glaze. Via email, we contacted E. Design, received a prompt reply with advice regarding replacement. Within 24 hours we had received a replacement product - fantastic after service. We always say that you can only judge a company by their response in dealing with issues and faults, E. Design have truly demonstrated their commitment to customer service. Based on our experience we have no hesitation in recommending this company and their delivery service.

The sign of a good company is how problems are resolved I had an issue with a shower screen, not the companies fault, and they sorted my complaint in a timely and efficient manner. Would definitely recommend Ergonomic designs and would not hesitate to buy from them in the future.

Purchased designer radiator to finish off bedroom. the first radiator arrived within a couple of days but was damaged on arrival. The driver kindly took back and organised replacement, which arrived next day. Unfortunately it was also damaged but couldn't be seen without unwrapping it. After a few emails ergonomics kindly refunded money as they did not have a replacement available. All emails responded to quickly. Would buy from them again.

It's no wonder Ergonomic Designs have such a high Customer Service rating. I recently ordered several items for my bathroom but as a result of a few problems I had to contact Customer Services and was dealing with Valentina. The initial problem was caused by a mistake on my part in ordering. Despite this Valentina dealt with my problem professionally and efficiently contacting me regularly to give me updates as she knew my Contractor's were waiting on parts. There were then further problems with the supplier delivering the wrong item and once again Valentina was very proactive in resolving it. Bathrooms are all finished now and look amazing. The same items were available on other sites but Ergonomic Designs provided the best price and delivery lead times and believe me I shopped around. I can't praise Ergonomic designs enough, especially Valentina. Thank you!

Whilst I accept I didn’t unpack the shower tray immediately, it was in fact several weeks later, when I did unpack it and it was cracked I was simply told nothing could be done and I would have to buy another one. Disappointing.

The delivery was speedy and packed superbly. Everything looks good and very high standard,but we haven,t got it installed yet. When it is all installed I will be very happy to send you a photo.
