Took advantage of Black Friday price which on the face of it was a good offer/ hope any service if needed is as good as the offer!

A few minutes after taking out my breakdown policy I discovered I had got the start date wrong so I rang the company.They said there was nothing they could do and suggested I take out another policy and then ask for a refund for the first policy. I wasn't prepared to do this. They could just have changed the date surely? I was then further annoyed by the email I received 2 days later saying the company was offering 50% off their breakdown cover! Why didn't they mention this when I rang them?

1. Nowhere on the documents as sent does it show who the insurance underwriter is behind this car breakdown scheme. It should be shown. 2. I was sent an e mail asking me to keep my account details/log in details safe. On the e mail it prints out my personal password to get in to my account. Incredible !!! 3. Some errors in grammar which seems a bit poor in the policy wording e.g. it says so and so "administrates" the scheme. What word is that? 4. You get what you pay for and I appreciate that costs have to be kept down. However there are some funny exclusions which could catch you out e.g: - no assistance given if your electronic car key wont work yet surely this is an electrical breakdown ? - no cover for running out of fuel and no cover for wrong fuel being put in the vehicle - roadside assistance only if you have a puncture and you just have a tyre inflation kit. So if the tyre sidewall rips and the inflation kit wont seal the rip then the roadside operative wont help you to travel to a local tyre fitter to buy a new tyre and then return to the car to fit it ? - windscreen wipers that wont work aren't deemed to be a breakdown and wont be dealt with unless you pay. So if its a blinding rainstorm and you cant see then you are really stuck aren't you? - they add in out of order from the Definitions in the policy wording what they mean by the vehicle being "Immobilised". Make sure that you read this and are happy with what is being excluded. As I say you get what you pay for. AA and RAC full cover this product certainly isn't but on the other hand you aren't paying AA and RAC scheme prices !

I HAD QUERIE BECAUSE I WAS GIVEN 2 VARIOUS QUOTE SO I TELEHONE AND THE RECEPTIONIST AND SEE VERY SOON SORTED IT OUT FOR ME AND VERY HELPFUL AND KIND. BECAUSEN MY PRINTED WAS NOT WORKING I TELEPHONED AGAIN AND THEY SAID THEY WOULD PUT THE DETAILS I N THE POST WHICH ARRIVED TO-DAY MANY THANKS EILEEN BOUNSALL

As I have only just taken out policy for breakdown it is difficult to comment, that's why I have said very good based on little I know. I purchased purely on price and cover provided and find it incredible that others including car insurance Companies who provide as extra can charge so much. If 2together can provide a service at this price why can't other Companies, who's being mugged off...the motorist again. Thanks 2together, here's hoping I never need to call you....Thanks Tony

Most people need a Policy that puts them in control if they have the miss fortune to breakdown. If it can not be repaired at the roadside then WE need to be able to say if we want to be taken to a local garage or a destination of OUR choice. It is not always convenient to hang around in a strange place or have to travel home then back again to collect your car from someone / garage you don't know and who will probably try to rip you off as they know you have no option but to use them, not good. I want to be taken to my own garage or wherever I want, simple..

At the point of breakdown different client's have differing desires and requests, so whilst we do not offer a guaranteed recovery to the home address, the options you mentioned are discussed with the client dependent on their circumstances and needs. Once I had purchased my breakdown cover it said I would receive a confirmation email shortly. The payment has been taken however I have still not yet received this?

Ms Bertram, Thank you for your comments. Our online system automatically emails out the associated documents upon completion of purchase in every instance. Sometimes overly aggressive inbox spam filters class this as junk, so we find client's sometimes overlook this. Unfortunately once I got a quote, I couldn't view the documents and had to call for the information. The first time I called I didn't receive an email, but did the second time. Good telephone response yesterday. Perhaps because I was using a tablet, would that be the reason I couldn't see documents? I need to see what I am going to buy and compare it to my very expensive existing policy, and it is adequate cover for what I need. So I'm pleased to say I've saved over £100!

..... when u buy online its good to get email confirmation, invoice, welcome pack and all those documents. which any one needs. the company seems not to care about this, and im very disappointed i had to emailed u about it 2 weeks after the money was sent to ur account. at some point i wasnt sure if i was cover or what because it was no feedback from u at all., its very disappointing.
