“I started to fill the policy application while online but didn't finish it. The next day I received an e mail offering a 50% discount if I followed through, so I did and got the discount. Great policy for a great price. Now I will see what kind of service I receive in the event of any breakdown. PS. documents were sent immediately with no delay.”

“Mark, contract number 2185639 Very unhappy. Found breakdown cover through comparison website search, wanted to cover Two of my cars and the quotes seemed reasonable. Returned to website to sign up and pay but after filling the forms in again and paying for One car I was unable to add the other car. Next day received confirmation of cover but was not given promised cashback, or access to add second car. So I called the help line number and was told tough luck, if I wanted promised discount and to be able to add second car I must cancel contract and re buy direct from them, BUT I would lose £10 as part of their terms and conditions. Why advertise on cashback and comparison web sites if you cant fullfill all the promises??. So I asked for leniency on the grounds that this was not made clear while I was trying to get both cars covered, which I was unable to do. No chance of FULL refund on single car so that I could add second car, so was advised to email customer service to see if they could help, still not had a reply so I`m cancelling the contract and writing off my £10. Will still look for cover for Two cars. Any comments from 2gether would be constructive ?. 20th August update. Received the reply from 2gether and it would appear it was a comparison site glitch that caused the errors which 2gether are looking at clearing up to prevent future probs. Did a re quote directly on the 2gether website and was not only allowed to put my 34 year old Classic car on the policy but got a great price too, inc the promised discount. Then I have also had contact directly from 2gether, who have been great and in the circumstances they have promised to refund ALL my original charges. Good outcome and I`m hoping not to have to use the breakdown insurance.”

Mr Wilson, Thank you for your comments. Firstly, with regard to the cashback, this is the responsibility of the cashback website in question to issue, and they do so, but due to the processes involved this generally takes 30 - 60 days. As for the ability to add a second vehicle, as the method you found us through only allows one vehicle at a time, the only option to add a second would be to go through the same channel and create a new policy as opposed to adding a secondary vehicle the existing policy. “Will have to wait and see, but hope I won't have to find out, but for peace of mind. Shame does not cover mis-fuelling just in case?? have never done it yet but who knows might be me or someone allowed to drive my car. Hope not though. But seemed straight forward enough, always confusing terms I think on any insurance. But as long as I get home if broken down that's what matters, as on my own when driving normally, so can be late. thanks”
