New customer hoping to receive a high standard of customer service from 2gether. Its bias to ask a cklient for breakdown rating if its not being used and it refuses to submit the review, if it's not rated.

Thank you for your comments. Whilst we appreciate you may have just bought the policy, we actively collect review data from client's across the policy spectrum, including those who have used the service. The point of a review platform is to rate the product/service, so unfortunately your comments are unable to be posted unless you do so accordingly, and fulfill the purpose as such. Dear Sir. Follow on from your email. I purchased breakdown insurance on 29th November 2015 from you on recommendation from my brother in law. I purchased from the website given to me by my brother in law. I did not see a link on your page to download the form. Further I received no confirmation for my payment. There was no further confirmation that I was covered. Later I spoke to a lady by telephone who assured me that she would email my documentation to me. The only confirmation I received was when I my credit card statement arrived two weeks later. I still have not received any documentation from you either by post or email. How can my review be seemed as unfair when you have left me completely in the dark. I still do not know even how I can contact you if my vehicle brakes down. I purchased the policy on 29th November 2015 and paid the bill by my bank card . On checking my statement I noticed that you had taken a payment from me. I contacted your company in December and spoke to a lady as I had not received any confirmation as to whether I had a policy with you. She assured me that she would get me the documentation and post it to me. Today, 5th January 2016 I am still waiting for my paperwork to arrive. I am beginning to have doubts now as to whether you are going to let me have the paperwork. Considering the length of time I have been waiting, I will require the policy to start from the date when I receive my documentation. After all I have had no way of contacting you as you have been holding on to the documentation. If you cannot supply the documents please refund me the money I have given you. Most people need a Policy that puts them in control if they have the miss fortune to breakdown. If it can not be repaired at the roadside then WE need to be able to say if we want to be taken to a local garage or a destination of OUR choice. It is not always convenient to hang around in a strange place or have to travel home then back again to collect your car from someone / garage you don't know and who will probably try to rip you off as they know you have no option but to use them, not good. I want to be taken to my own garage or wherever I want, simple..

At the point of breakdown different client's have differing desires and requests, so whilst we do not offer a guaranteed recovery to the home address, the options you mentioned are discussed with the client dependent on their circumstances and needs. All of our policy wordings are available prior to purchase and the options and cover levels are made clear. Once I had purchased my breakdown cover it said I would receive a confirmation email shortly. The payment has been taken however I have still not yet received this?

Ms Bertram, Thank you for your comments. Our online system automatically emails out the associated documents upon completion of purchase in every instance. Sometimes overly aggressive inbox spam filters class this as junk, so we find client's sometimes overlook this. Bought policy online when i got to payment page it said it hadn't processed,so i tried again and same happened.I repeated this another 2 times, then i got an e mail saying thanks for purchasing policy,this set alarm bells ringing,how many payments had been taken out? I rang straight away it took 10 minutes to get through to check it hadn't taken payment 4 times operative said it hadn't and the system wouldn't allow it to.I checked my bank account a couple of days later i found it had taken 4 payments out i'm now in process of retrieving my over payment,i've been told it will take 5 working days,i await hopefully.

Mr Geall, Thank you for your comments. Unfortunately we experienced an integration issue with the payment gateway at the point you tried to make your purchase, resulting in the issues you had. I have checked and we have released the refunds as advised. When we do so, they leave us immediately, but the reason for the time frame quoted is down to bank processing times the other end. Mr Smith, Thank you for your comments. In the event of a breakdown we have an independent network of over 2,500 agents across the UK, so the particular attendee will the operative local to you. the price is very good for the level of cover but i didn't receive an introductory email other than this one to write a review. i would have liked a bit more customer service rather than the next to nothing received so far.

As I have only just joined I have no experience of your customer service but I must say that I am very surpriesed that I have not yet received any documentation regarding my policy. I joined on Thursday and payment has gone out but have no idea who to call if I do indeed need to contact you

Mr Wiltshire, Thank you for your comments. As you bought your policy with us through Go-Compare you would have automatically been sent an email containing your policy details and documentation. I haven't had to use the service so no comment on that. I do have to say I didn't receive any postal verification, no card, no number, nothing. I was lucky to keep emails which is the only way I know who I bought breakdown cover with

the day after I purchased the policy, you contacted me to offer 50% of the purchase price!!!! Oh how I wish I had waited before going ahead with the purchase. I feel somewhat cheated, not a good start to our relationship, it would have been nice to have a discount at the time, a lesson I wont forget!

After paying for the yearly coverage, I noticed that your phone no. seems to be one of the more expensive ones. Had I noticed that when I was reviewing the choices, I would have thought twice about using your company Thank you T Davies

Mr Davies, This is not the case. The emergency telephone number in the event of a breakdown is a local number at national call rates. Not a 0845 or such like premium rate number. Regards The 2Gether Breakdown Team
