“Absolutely happy with the product. Easy to construct and the chickens love it. My only piece of feedback is that on your website there is a count down for next day delivery. I managed to get in with minutes to spare. Then came a phone call for the delivery in three days time!”

“A brilliant little house for our new chickens. I had done a lot of research and this was by far the best quality, size and price available. We bought the house without the run as my husband built a run around it. Delivery was Tuesday morning after ordering Sunday night. Couldn't have asked for more!”

“I felt that this coop was very well made and good quality. It did not take that long for the 2 of us to put it together either. Prior to writing the review though I wanted to use it for a few months so I could provide proper feedback. So the size is great. We have 3 large hybrid chickens and this is great for them. It would fit maybe one more but I would seriously suggest buying an extra run, especially if you will not be allowing them to roam free range. The unit is very secure and we have already had foxes attempt to get in and they where not successful - which is great news. I find it easy to clean and collect eggs. All products will have some negatives and I have found that the run going up to the coop is weak and after moving the coop a few times came loose. As such it now has to be fixed on after every move - although this has not proved difficult, just frustrating that it only lasted about a month before breaking. Not well though out and maybe it should be on a more flexible hinge! Also I have now noticed some mold starting to appear on the outside of the coop and underneath the roof on the outer section. As the wood was meant to have been treated this is not a good sign but hoping we can resolve this ourselves. These are my only negatives and so far the product has proved sturdy.”

“Great speed of delivery & my order was confirmed by phone within 12 hours. Unfortunately they sent me the wrong item. There is a fairly brusque person on the end of their phone but they did sort it out very quickly. I'm pleased with the product.”

“Absolutely thrilled so far! A great range of products at fantastic prices on an easy-to-use website. I needed my coop delivering between specific dates and that wasn't a problem. My husband and I built the coop and not an argument in sight! The coop is solid and substantial enough to house my girls in luxury whilst coping with our coastal weather. Having said that, it was still easy to move and position. The girls move into it tomorrow, so we just have to see what they think!”

“Really pleased with my Coop - The Stables XL. Prompt delivery as all other reviews stated. The instructions took a short time to work out, but once they were fathomed out it was soon put together. My husband and father in law (who assembled the coop) were both very impressed with the quality - high praise indeed!! The coop looks a good size for the bantams we are getting and I like the idea of being able to add an extra run if we decide to later. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is thinking of buying.”

I've given a 4 star rating only because some of the instructions could have been a bit clearer to build it and had us scratching our heads foe a few minutes. If you have no problem with building things, then most probably a 5! Thank you for a well priced product.”

“The service was quick, the hen house good quality and easy to put together and the removable tray to facilitate cleaning very handy. My only two criticisms would be that the perches are a bit too narrow for the cups they sit in so are constantly falling off when the hens move about. They just needed to be a bit wider so they fitted snuggly but at the same time still being removable. I also found that the wheels don't move freely once attached to the house and rubbed against blocks so wheeling the hen house didn't happen. However there are two handles either end of the house so with two people, the house is very easy to move being light. It would also be useful to have a fox proof lock for the removable tray at both ends of the house - one is provided and is very useful but it provide me with more peace of mind to secure the tray at both ends.”

“I have over a twelve month period purchased four coops. I have found that their response to queries are quick and supportive. The design and build quality of their products are excellent. I appreciate that external t&g boarding is thicker than most other manufacturers. External finishes are of good quality. The only comment here is that customer applied varnish does tend to peal off. Any recommendation Eggshell? Fixings are of good quality and sufficient size, and packed in separate bags clearly identified by letter code. Always extra screws for fumbly fingers. Products packed robust packaging and bindings. Never any damage during transportation. If I had any criticism it is that company needs to review assembly instruction sheets. They could be a lot clearer. All in all a good product reasonably priced. Highly recommended product and company.”

“The chicken coup is good value for money. The instructions were a bit difficult to follow at times. The quality of the product is good although the handle split when attaching it to the run. The screws keep on coming out when opening the lid, so we replaced them with bigger ones than the ones supplied. The lid could also do with a locking system. Overall though we are pleased with the product. It is easy to clean and move about. Even though we did purchase the extension, we are going to attach a bigger run for our hens as they are used to more roaming space.”

“The instructions for assembling the chicken house and run could be clearer but it goes together well. Unfortunately it does leak during heavy rain. I only have two chickens living in it and in my opinion there is definitely not room for any more.”
