“i have quite good eye sight but the instructions were a nightmare, maybe try putting them on 2 sheets and making the pictures bigger so people who are not experts at putting things together can have a wee clue.....next day delivery not good either i got mine after 3 days”

“Lovely little chicken house, but I needed to call in someone to help put it up - not at all easy! There were lots if separate parts, lots of screws and the instructions were bewildering. I can see some reviews say construction is simple, so perhaps it's just me! Love it now though, looks great.”

“Overall the service was good. The ordering and delivery was quick and easy, with no problems at all. The product was of good quality and as expected. I found the instructions difficult to understand at times, being a complete novice at diy projects, and a couple of the holes did not line up with the screws and one screw actually broke in half. Saying that they were only minor blips and fixable. The chickens are very happy in their new home, thankyou.”

“It was delivered quickly and was relatively easy to assemble. It would have helped if the diagrams were a bit bigger. Overall I am pleased with it. One very minor thing; the bolt was missing from one of the locks. I do see this as minor and would recommend it to friends”

“The coop arrived on the date stated,it was packed well and nothing was damaged.It was a little difficult to read some of the instructions due to the poor quality photocopying . We still have a couple of screws and other bits left over but all the parts seem to have fitted together and it looks like like the photo on the web site, Just got to get the chickens”

“i bought a mayfair chicken house and an extension for two hens it has wheels so i can move it on the lawn even with just two hens i find it needs to be moved every two days hens do a lot of poo the only problem i had was that two cross rails one on the extension and one on the house both had large knots right in the centre section and were nearly broken in two so needed battens across them to rienforce the regards m dorsett”

“Efficient delivery service. Assembled Coop in 3 hours. Instructions should be larger. It is helpful to have screws all in marked plastic bags No written advice regarding putting additional preservative on unit; telephoned and told not to put any on internal panels Not acquired my chickens so no feedback yet from primary stakeholders!”

“Bought Eggshell Windsor chicken coop. Order arrived quickly and all parts there. However, the instructions were picture instructions only and not very good at that, so it took ages to put together and quite a few adjustments were necessary. Also the handle blocks split as they were screwed on so replacements have been requested. Having said that the coop looks good and it is certainly dry inside so should be ok for my bantams.”

“Brilliant coop for the price. The instructions were a little poor so this made it slower to build. The size of the nesting areas would be perfect for bantams, I had to take out two slats for my large chickens to fit in, they have been used to a more communal nesting box in their last coop. Delivery was quick and with a friendly driver too. Thank you.”

“This chicken coup was bought so that we can put our two house cats in it and keep them safe from the roads etc. It looks quite sturdy and well thought out. What would have made it even better was if it was at least another 18" taller maybe they could make an extension for the bottom that the coup could sit on. Husband who built it said that it would have made it even easier to build if each part was labelled I,e, right side, left side, back, front, roof etc (personally I think its just a man thing ha ha) overall it was easily built.”

“Delivered on time (although I would have like to have known that I would receive an e-mail to arrange delivery - having paid extra for next day delivery, waiting in all day and then in the evening finding an e-mail asking me to call to arrange delivery!!!) Excellent build quality, but the assembly instructions were a little confusing and not that clear.”
