Took 3 days to tell me they didn't have the parts I had ordered and that they couldn't get anymore even though they were still on their website

OK I should have read the small print tucked away in the delivery section of the website but the company completely declined to deliver the item because so live on an island. Royal Mail come here 6 times a week so it's not that remote.

received a text on day of delivery 02/09/16 asking if i would be in,if not i could have parcel delivered to another location i picked for it to be delivered to halfords i received a text almost straight away saying my parcel will now be delivered on the 05/09/16,as my job is starting on the 5th job will now be delayed. delivery driver was still one and a half hours away from my destination when i received text so why couldn't he still deliver my parcel on the same day. won't be using this service again.

Product was mis-sold and mis represented. No effort to correct their error. Colected the goods. They cost me time and money.

If you do not deliver to Northern Ireland then it should be CLEARLY marked on your website that this is the case...I.e. on the home page, when ordering and not hidden away in a delivery terms page that no one will read unless there is a problem! Never again!

The service I received on order placement and delivery was good. Unfortunately, and even more importantly, the item received was not even close to the description as stated on Edwards Bros. web site. The item ordered was cw1308 solid copper cored telephone cable. The item received was a totally inferior CCA or CCS cable which has at least seven times the resistance of CW 1308 specification. When I questioned this I was advised by an EB rep that it complies with the CW 1308 specification when it clearly does not. CCA and CCS cables do not comply with any European or UK standard. Many customers may even feel that this vastly inferior product is being "passed off" as the superior CW1308 copper cored cable spec.

Order only part fulfilled and had no info to determine if other items were out of stock or to follow. Mailed customer service and had an out of office reply...so the mail did get to them. One week later and no reply so I still don't know what has happened to the rest of my order. Shocking customer service.

Anyone in a hurry for their item(s) should select a different method from the free delivery because the delivery really is standard horse and cart I think.

Website indicated product in stock. Order confirmation sent and payment deducted. Only after chasing for reason of non-delivery was it admitted the product was out of stock.

Ordered contactor for job next week ,so needed it delivered on Friday. That was date it was to be delivered but it didn't arrive. I will now have to source another contactor for job down south. Quite disappointed

You need to use a different delivery company the *** delivery company you are currently using are clueless why do they offer a service to have the delivery dropped off at a local shop and then after accepting the selection say the item is unsuitable to drop off at a collection point? And more to the point why didn't the delivery driver just post my order through the letterbox it is only a handful of connectors? 4 attempts to deliver 20 connectors no wonder the delivery charge was so expensive.

Have used before and was happy with the service but not this time. Ordered on a Tuesday so expected delivery on Thursday or Friday. Website said items in stock. Phoned on Thursday to be told they were waiting for a delivery from supplier that day but not sure when and told me to phone back later. I phoned back to be told they weren't sure what was happening and would phone me back that day but didn't. I phoned the next morning to be told that they weren't now expecting the item in until a week later so had to cancel it! Very poor communication and if I hadn't phoned several times I would have had no idea when the item would be delivered.

I ordered 20 x one item online and the system somehow altered this to 1. I phoned and explained and a member of staff said the order would be ammended. All that has happened is I've been refunded for the 1 item and asked to comment on their service. The 20 items I needed have not arrived and it is too late now. ***!

The company sent me the wrong items. I emailed twice and failed to get a response. Not good at all. Companies like this should learn that a low online price is only part of the 'customer experience'. Prompt customer service should be part of the package. I am left with the impression that they just wanted my money and didn't care about any other part of the transaction. What a shame.
