Delivery was great- return was NOT! They charge you £60, then don’t confirm which day they will collect until the day itself! Not great customer service!

Products didn’t turn up on intended delivery date and no parcel tracking available. Had to chase to get products re sent out, the only one of the two products was available. When the product turned up (now a slit delivery, the packaging and product was damaged and in-useable. Waiting for replacement products to be sent out.

Matt, I am very sorry the distributors failed to send your original order. As two were purchased and only one was available. They were awaiting on a replenish delivery so held to be sent out together. We did then ask them to send the stock bin out for you and we can only apologise this arrived damaged. We have arranged for a replacement bin to come to you with the second one when it comes into stock. We will collect the damage at the same time. Again apologies for any inconvenience caused.
I would give a review but cannot as I haven’t received the item despite paying extra for fast delivery.

The tracking does state the item was been delivered on the 15th December? Disappointing experience. I purchased a Peka magic corner unit. The unit that was supplied had been previously returned and was therefore secondhand. It was damaged, the fittings bag was open and a set of instructions was missing. Unfortunately, I had missed in the small print on the website that it was supposed to be checked within 48 hours of arrival. I found customer service abrasive which left me feeling I was at fault when it was them that supplied me with damaged goods. They did rectify it by sending me replacement parts but the whole experience left me very disillusioned. We tried to speak to the technical department to establish if any fittings were missing but were told this was not possible.

Thank you for your review, As advised, unfortunately the parcel was picked and sent to you in error. We did apologies and believe we helped you in rectifying immediately. I am confused with your comments though as myself and team were extremely accommodating for you. We did mention we advise parcels to be checked upon delivery so that issues can be rectified and will not have a direct impact to customers when a fitter is booked. Unfortunately, the product was not checked until weeks after receipt and not until your fitter arrived. But, this did not have an impact to you and we arranged for the parts to be sent to you on a Saturday Pre 10am. This being the next day after your communication. I appreciate we declined your request to pay for the fitters time for two days. I am extremely sorry you received a parcel that was less than perfect but do hope you enjoy your new corner solution.
The item didn't arrive, so they said they would send another. I haven't had that either and now they can't get one until 22 May (original order was 28 March for delivery in 1-2 days!)

Sue, The first tambour door kit was dispatched for you on a next day service after the order was placed on the 28th February. As you did not notify us off you had not received the delivery until the 24th April this is has had a huge impact on the time delay. As advised the couriers unfortunately have now stated they lost the parcel. I am very sorry we have no further stocks at this time to be able to send you a replacement but will send one as soon as we able to do so. Thank you

The pull out larder mechanisms are not fit for purpose. The whole mechanism does not work correctly and is not sturdy to hold any weight. The whole thing sags and gets worse once the doors are installed.

Ordered 2 Items and they both came damaged didn’t think I would have to check them til I got to the customers so out of pocket for installing of the draws as wasted … They did send replacement next day but right 1st time would of been good Also they must of been packed damaged as there was no way they could of got damaged after packed.

Ian, I am very sorry the items arrived to you damaged. Unfortunately having to use third party couriers is always trying for a company. I am pleased to hear my team were able to arrange promptly and you received the replacements swiftly. We prompt all customers to check products immediately as although frustrating, damages due occur and then we can indeed arrange replacements in the shortest time frame possible.
I have called the company and left a message as I am very disappointed in the quality of my new sink, and have actually had to have it fitted the other way round to what I wanted now as no one got back to me. Very disappointed with what is an expensive product and also with the after sales service.

Bought swing out pantry unit, was delivered half order with missing parts ,box was damaged, i am reported on some day. Still waiting, nearly 2 weeks , problem doesn't sort out yet ,Very disappointed .

I have looked into your comments and can see my colleague has been communicating and asking for information via email but not getting a response from you? We really need to know what you are missing. Not brilliant, ordered a fairly expensive item and the delivery company just dumped it at another house, not only that but half the delivery was missing and east coast haven't phoned me back with any update, that was three weeks ago

There basic order/delivery service is efficient but their after sales is poor Very disappointed with the service received from East Coast Kitchens. I e-mailed them about some additional items for a recent purchase, and they replied the next day with a negative response. I then replied to that with a couple of suggestions on how I might get round the problem but they never bothered to reply. That's poor in my opinion.

Robert. We thank you for your purchase, we were very pleased to hear from you and that you was happy with your product. You asked if we could provide a further bio bin lid for the waste bin purchased. We asked the manufacturers for you and unfortunately no parts were available so we informed you by email. As your response was asking if you could reach out to the manufacturers. As we had already asked them directly for you we knew they would not be able to help you further. We must admit we are behind on responses at the moment so apologies we did not come back to you to advise.
Shoddy and offensive response to a simple returns request. Hiding behind "policy" when the easiest thing to do would have been to acknowledge that a satisfied customer is worth more to their business than an offended one! Think twice about placing orders with these guys.

Hello, thank you for your purchase, unfortunately as the return request was 49 days after receipt, we can not accept under our standard terms. As we distribute, returns have to be returned to them within the time stated and within 30 days. We did however offer you a credit note which we felt was acknowledging we value our customers. .customers
Poor customer service. The product arrived promptly but was broken. EastCoast Kitchens was slow to respond. We were under time pressure since our contractors were waiting to install the product, so we couldn't wait for the return process and instead ordered the product again and requested a refund for the broken product. After weeks and several rounds of emails, we are still awaiting approval of the refund as EastCoast Kitchens seems to make their decision dependent upon the refund decision by the manufacturer rather than taking responsibility for their services.

I purchased some plinth grill/vent which were listed x6, assumed I was getting six of these but was told by customer services that this meant there were six different colours. Very misleading

I have looked at the listing header and it does state X6 finishes We will however take your comments on board and have added sold in singles to the description in case people miss read the listing header again. I ordered 5 of the 10mx22mm glued iron on edging strip and I was sent over 2 of the bigger rolls. I have not had time to measure them, but since we supply these to our customers and they wanted them as 5x 10m rolls this is what I needed. This was not what was delivered and when I asked about the discrepancy on the order only being sent as 2 rolls instead of 5 I was told that I had received the correct amount and that it was swapped out. I did not approve the swap out and since telling them this I have had no response since.

Hello, I am sorry you were not happy with the way the edging was supplied to you. From experience with previous customers, they are happy to accept, as this can be beneficial as long as the correct quantity is supplied of course. We can assure you this was the case but we are very sorry you received larger rolls. We also apologise we have yet to respond to your email we received on Monday, we strive to answer all emails within 48 hours from reciept.
Product is rubbish. Information in specifications is not clear at all.

Hello, I am sorry you did not receive 4 vents in one go, we did email you on the day of purchase to advise we only had X3 in stock and the remainder would follow for you? The product itself seems to be very good quality. I doubt however that I am the only customer to have bought this and expected it to come with the actual white cupboard carcass as seen in all the pictures online. As such it is actually rather deceptive and very expensive. I would have had to mortgage a house to return in the post which they wouldn’t take back for free even though there will be other deliveries close to my address! I feel duped! And skint! And with no larder yet!

The returns policies are appalling for customers. Many products need to be fitted and fitted by trades so to only allow 14days to inform you of a return is very poor.

Hello, thank you for your review but as you have not included your name I can not comment directly? We are honest in our terms and state we distribute products, this allows us to offer products at a reduced margin and therefore it is passed to our customers. Unfortunately, as the distribution centres only allow this time frame, we have to follow this. We generally help customers though and tend to extend wherever possible with 80% of our products allowing 30 days. You are welcome to contact us to discuss this if you wish.
