“The van was clean and pleasant to drive. The staff were helpful and efficient. Only one gripe. It took too long (about 8 or 9 days) for the deposit to be paid back into our account after the vehicle had been cleared as returned in good order. Bank transfers should take a maximum of 2 working days and everyone knows that holding on to other people's money to gain interest is a cheap trick.”

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. If you return a vehicle on a weekend it will not be refunded until the next working day. Once we have refunded it, it will take 3-5 working days after the process date to show your account. Unfortunately, this isn't due to us, it is the bank that holds it. “The service was great but at busier times could do with more staff. The vehicle I used comfortable and clean, I only used it fairly locally and it performed adequately. There was some miscommunication as when I booked the van, I organised to use it for 3 days. However, I was phoned on the Monday to be told that it should have been returned the previous day!”

“I had booked a crew cab transit van for a weeks hire around 3 months before I required it, so when I arrived to collect it on the start day I was rather surprised to have been given a van with quite a lot of dents and worse than that very grubby and dirty inside. I would say it had mostly been used by contractors and builders! I accept that it’s a hire van and it’s going to get used and abused, but having booked 3 months in advance I was disappointed to get what appeared to be the worst van in your fleet! Having said all that it ran without fault during the weeks hire, so I was grateful for that. I appreciate how difficult it must be to keep hire vans up together and it won’t stop me hiring from you, but it was disappointing on the day to get it in the condition it was.”

“Unfortunately I noticed the nearside rear tyre was flat whilst doing a walk around checks which maybe should have been picked up before being put teady for hire. I had to take the van to the tyre garage across the road to chang the tyre while I waited which put my day behind schedule. With this aside a very good courteous service with an easy booking service online.”

“we hired a small fiat budget car for a very reasonable price and it was perfect for our holiday. I felt it was all handled well though there was a bit of a wait on Saturday morning . I would definitely recommend this company, my only complaint is the £36 charge for forwarding a parking penalty notice.”

Unfortunately, due to the amount of speeding/parking fines we get, we do have a full time staff member catering to them, therefore the admin charge occurs. “The use of an easy to drive 3.5 Luton van with tail lift enabled us to move my mum’s furniture with ease. On collection and return the staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside was that Dorset Vehicle Rentals insurance policy doesn’t allow drivers over 75 which meant my husband couldn’t help out with the driving. Would recommend.”
