“No hassle service, and good new vehicle Couldn’t give 5 stars as cab interior wasn’t very clean, not ideal as with Covid it should have been really, so lost a mark”

“Charged for accidental damage and windscreen cover on top of rental which I stated wasn't required. Have requested a refund which is ongoing.”

“It was very easy to book and hire from Dorset rentals, I would say they are not the cheapest and there’s lots of extras you’ll need to take into account.”

“Have used DVR for van rental many times in the past few months and will continue to do so in the future. Service is very good. Vans are always in good condition. The only bugbear is that the vans never return fully fuelled. And trying to return them to the fuel level they were hired it is a real pain. Full to full is much easier.”

“I hired a van to do a small removal from a house in France. DVR were able to arrange this, the particular issue being the cost of the added insurance. I am sure the company is faced with the cost by the insurance company but it did seem very expensive to me. Yet another obvious benefit of Brexit no doubt. The van was a late model in excellent condition and was very clean, except for the seats for some reason. I was able to clean them easily with carpet shampoo however. I collected during office hours and returned out of hours, both arrangements were fine. I would use DVR again.”

“The member of staff was very helpful and the vehicle was easy to book online and a good price, on picking up the vehicle it was very clean etc and having the key drop box was an added bonus as you can drop off even during the office closed times. Parking our own vehicle was easy as the railway station is just next door. The only improvement would be that the vehicle should have a full fuel tank on collection and returned full but then the fuel station was only across the road, just think when you pick up the vehicle you want to be on your way to your destination rather than filling up with fuel.”

With regards to fuel, unfortunately for security reasons we tend not to have vehicles full of fuel, instead we request vehicles are returned with what they are collected with.
