“Service was excellent, only issues was the car’s clutch was almost gone and for 35k miles that was on it didn’t seem right, other than that was very good.”

“I couldn’t fault the service offered by DVR. Nick and Alex were relentless in trying to sort out a puncture for me. Unfortunately their breakdown helpline were completely useless saying they didn’t cover punctures, and when putting me through to the puncture repair company; they said they didn’t have a mobile service to come out to me. The AA were then called, and were first class. They sorted the issue and then made sure we were OK for the rest of our journey home. Perhaps the fleet breakdown and puncture repair service needs to be reviewed.”

“I was happy with the cleanliness of the vehicle but did notice after taking the vehicle that the winch had been broken so had to be extra careful with it but was not noticed on inspection”

“Car was good, spotless in and out except inside of windscreen that was a bit smeary. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Constraints on pick-up and drop-off times a bit limiting.”

Thank you for your review, we have made the Gillingham Branch know about the smeary windscreen on the vehicle. We have to set the collection and return times like this as we are very busy and the vehicles go out pretty quick once they are back with us (after they have been cleaned and sanitised).

“Generaly a good service - very helpfull on the phone to book the car hire. Collection process good, although the vechical was not ready for collection and still had to be cleaned - adding a 10-15 minute wait. Return process was good. All staff encountered were polite and efficient.”

Unfortunately we are having to pay more to buy vehicles and other essentials due lack of vehicles as factory's have been closed down throughout the COVID pandemic. Apologies you are unhappy with the price increase. Please note when you book online you will receive a discount if this helps you at all in future!

“We had great customer service from our Yeovil Branch. First time we used them. We booked to drop back at 10am, but for some reason we were down to be due back for 8am and caused the next customer to wait. Which isn’t how we planned our first visit to go, but Dorset Vehicle Rentals dealt with this well from our point of view. Thank you.”
