“The stove and price for the stove is excellent and looks lovely installed. The optional additional flue kit however cost £332.19 and all that I received was a flue liner and pot hanger priced at £201 for a liner and £79 for the hanger. I told the customer service this and they apparently did not see my point. The kit is listed as flue liner, hanger, fitting cone and flue connector. I had to purchase the flue connector as an optional add on and I had to purchase a cone from a local supplier. I feel very let down with the flue "kit" and the response from Direct Stoves”

“Great company to deal with, honest and good communication. Only problem was it arrived a day early and as the delivery was left at end of driveway this caused a bit of a panic but think it was the delivery people rather than the company.”

“Good price and stove looks good but not yet installed. Delivery service was terrible though. The first day it was due to be delivered it didn’t turn up after waiting in all day and I wasn’t informed. It was then arranged for two days later. I waited in all day again and it didn’t arrive again. It did arrive the day after but was left on the drive as they will not help you out it inside due to Covid.”

“It is an attractive stove. It heats the home very well using minimal logs. Easy to install and easy to clean. Smells a bit when first used but the smell went the second time it was lit. Good value for money.”

“Straightforward online buy...delivery date chosen but after purchase a message to say delivery date not guaranteed as it's up to the carrier! Fortunately for us it did arrive on the day we requested so no issues but maybe this should be shown before purchase?”

“Excellent service and everything we ordered was delivered at the same time. Star lost for the fire chamber, which didn’t have a finished edge so it looked ghastly on the sides. Out stove fitter had to put a metal angle trim to hide the concrete and uneven tiles. For the money, it could have had a better finish to this product. Otherwise, everything else was perfect.”
