Only hing I have an issue with was whilst fitting the fitter said fuel was for wood burner yet it was a multi fuel that I bought so was advised to use oily as a wood burner but service was quick

Stove looks nice, not sure how it works as we do not use it yet. Delivery takes forever. Do not get EU certificate when asking.

Great product and great service and delivery, the delivery driver even assisted me in hiding the smoker in the garage (not an easy task for something so big it comes on a pallet) as it was a surprise gift for my husband

Great company, really good friendly service and fast delivery. I bought a Charnwood Cranmore 3 stove which was too small and it was easy to exchange it for a larger one. They allowed me to return it in person, which saved a return cost.

Stove very pleased with. However when we ordered & paid, it was in stock to be delivered in 2 days. To discover it was’nt in stock, and took another 2 weeks to come, so bit of a wait.

I am delighted with my purchase from Direct Stoves. A lovely company to deal with, selling great products at fair prices. Having waited from the very quick and easy delivery date back in October 2025, until March 2026 when I could secure someone to install it, I am only just able to leave my review. But I am extremely happy to recommend this company. My Heta Inspire Inset Stove is wonderful. Looks fabulous and is rated A+ for energy efficiency. I am an extremely happy customer.

Ordering was ok. The wrong pipes were sent . After sales took ages to get things sorted. Sent 2 things back as they were wrong, to get told one of them was damaged and we wouldn't get our money back ! It was totally fine when I left us. Not happy

Hi Gill, Thank you for your review. We are sorry for any disappointment. We can see from notes on this order that you ordered and received a 6-inch twin wall pipe as part of the original order, and then requested to return a couple of items (including the pipe in question) and reorder alternative flue parts. Our team was happy to facilitate this. As far as we can ascertain, you were not sent the incorrect items originally and in fact received what was selected at checkout. A refund amount has been processed back via your original payment method and we appreciate that this was minus the cost of the one item, received back to us damaged. As per our online returns policy, "the goods must be suitably packaged to ensure that they would not be damaged in transit and that we would receive them in a re-saleable condition". On inspection by our warehouse team, this was not the case for the relevant item hence the deduction. Terrible customer service, stock management and general customer care. I was strung along for several days with an increasingly delayed delivery estimate. Completely making up the dates. Strongly suggest you go elsewhere or you’ll miss your delivery day. Even getting my refund took weeks.

Hi Adam, Thanks you for your review. We are sorry for any disappointment regarding this order and your experience with our services. We can see that the order was placed on the 7/1/26 and would have been due for delivery in week commencing 12/1/26. Unfortunately, there appears to have been a last-minute delay on the supplier's side which was not conveyed to us prior to your calling to chase the goods. As of the 15/1/26, we had offered to find an alternative gas stove available sooner but appreciate that the lead times on the closest alternatives made them unsuitable, and that you then requested cancellation and a refund. Our sales team requested that a refund be processed ASAP and can only apologise for any delay in actioning this. As of the 22/1/26, our accounts team had issued a full refund for the order. We're sure you can appreciate that the amount of time taken for the funds to reappear in your account are dependent on the issuing bank/card provider from that point and so beyond our control.
