“We bought a similar Burley large log burner 5 years ago and were very impressed. For holiday let we bought another make and we were less impressed so for a replacement in one of our larger rooms we bought another Burley. This one arrived with a slightly defective flue pipe which was related within 24hrs by Direct Stove. The only criticism of the stove (not Direct Stoves) is that the bottom lever that controls the draft should have a tool to move it as it gets very hot. The other Burley has a wood handle similar to the door handle. Remembering to put on a glove will come in time!”

“the positives: the stove looks good, very easy to order and a good price the negatives: the delivery, i know they use a third party but I had an incredibly grumpy man who refused to take the pallet delivery anywhere further than the side of the pavement as apparently this is all he is contracted to do, so then I am left with a 150kg stove on the side of the road. I had expected delivery into my house as how would I get it into my house otherwise??”

“Great communication, assistance with order as I had made a mistake. However order not sent to supplier immediately which resulted in delay of delivery of two days, meaning I needed to take another day off work. Initially went with company for speed of delivery, as I could have had fire a tiny bit cheaper elsewhere but longer delivery. However these things happen, experience with customer services was good. Fire is great and just want I wanted. Would use company again.”

“Great service, following a mistake made by the stove manufacturer in thier specification (Direct Stoves were not at fault at all), Direct Stoves got in touch with the manufacturer (AGA) and identified the discrepancy within one day and replaced the part at thier own cost. Absolutely outstanding service, so rare these days of on-line purchases. Great price too. Would not hesitate in using these guys again.”

“Direct Stoves recommended a Saltfire Peanut 5 which arrived on the date I chose for delivery. It was fitted this morning and the engineer remarked on the excellent build and technology that has gone into it. A world apart from the one he removed. Good advice and a complementary heatproof glove! Very pleased.”
