Website had lots of styles & choices to choose from. Excellent service from start to finish. Delivery was quick with helpful text messages to inform on delivery time. Item packed really well. Extremely pleased with the fire. Looks great!

Purchased Charnwood aire 5 at the lowest price we could find on market. Prompt updates on delivery and helpful delivery driver. Wrong size flue liner arrived, we ordered a 6” and a 5” arrived - several days back and forth to rectify Flue pipe damaged in box - one end not circular due to damage with paint peeling away. Extended Charnwood guarantee code not passed onto us at time of purchase - we had to email again to gain this information. Poor experience after being recommended by a family member - dissapointing.

While issues with incorrect items or damage upon receipt are thankfully very rare, not to mention multiple issues with the same order, these can and do happen on occasion. Lovely people to deal with. Help given with choosing the right stove with absolutely no pressure to buy. Smooth transaction and absolutely love my new Chesney log burner. Would highly recommend this company.

Online purchase very easy and issue raised re a potential defect on the barbecue was dealt with quickly and professionally. Didn’t find the staff member in store particularly helpful when trying to view the product prior to online purchase.

We recently purchased a Broseley Canturbury electric stove from Direct Stoves in Bromsgrove. The showroom staff were very helpful and knowledgable. The whole ordering process was very straightforward and delivery was quick. Very pleased with the stove!

Hi. Just one complaint and that is that there was no information about the multi fuel kit that I bought as an extra . But reading the main manuel stated that the stove is not suitable for anthracite which is a very common fuel . I want to send the multi fuel kit back but it’s in now and only allowed to burn wood.

Helios eco stove perfect for me, my family and the house. Fitters really helpful and friendly, did a brilliant job. Only downside was the delivery company, no help whatsoever. Direct Stoves should use another company.

Avoid and use a local dealer! Very poor service from start to finish. I ordered my stove on 22nd September and booked for a 2-man delivery on the website for the 4th October. I took the day off work so that I could be around. It got to 2pm and I had not heard anything, so I phoned direct stoves and was told that it had not even been shipped yet and I should not have been able to book a 2-man delivery on the website. I would receive a message the FOLLOWING WEEK so that I could book in a date, despite 4/10/2024 being the delivery date on my invoice! The stove finally arrived on 12th October and the 2-man delivery struggled to carry it into my house and left it next to where I wanted it, instead of in the fireplace (like was suggested on the website). When unpacking the parts, the Flue pipe had a large gouge front and centre, above the service door. The flue was also poor quality, misshape and paint flaking off everywhere. Tried to phone direct stoves customer service, but there was no answer and sent an email instead. I heard nothing until 17th, telling me that they're looking to send me another. I've told them not to bother as I've now picked up a cheaper, higher quality flue pipe from a local supplier. Annoyingly, the stove I ordered is now £400 cheaper in the sale. I've spent over £2k with this company and will never give them another penny.
