“The best price I could find for the Hereford 7 and delivered free of charge within a few days of ordering. Makes you feel warm just having on the realistic flame effect which has several appearance and brightness settings. The heating is effective and not too noisy. Everything can be operated via a remote control. I have no hesitation in recommending Direct Stoves and Hereford 7.”

“Very helpful and polite sales staff on the end of the phone. Always easy to get hold of, and arrangements for delivery in two weeks confirmed and also reconfirmed a 5 days before, and on the day. Delivered on time, and the stove was as described with no issues. Also the sales staff put me in touch with the UK manufacturer of my stove to answer technical queries I had. A good buying experience and very happy with the stove.”

“My Initial response would have been 5* for the price, delivery and help in deciding which accessories I needed to connect to my existing system. However, the stove was delivered in a van without a tail lift and no trolley. I had to help the driver lift off a very heavy stove, not ideal at 76 years of age, and provide a trolly. I needed to purchase an accessory which DS had to source from the manufacturer. I was advised that it would be a week delivery. It is almost 3 weeks and has required three phone calls progressing a delivery date, which I do not have still. D S have not been proactive on my behalf merely reactive, nor have I received the promised return phone calls with a delivery date. Poor customer service has reduced my scoring accordingly to 2*”

“Initial delivery date given on order not met. A month later it was due to be delivered. Stayed in for 2 days waiting only to be told it wasn’t my wood burner and mine was sat in the warehouse. It did arrive a couple of days later. Sadly I had to do all the chasing and my wasted time waiting in for delivery (2 days) was only worth £25.”

“I recently purchased a Parkway Arundal XL multi-fuel stove from DirectStoves. The order process was very quick, efficient and friendly and delivery was as agreed (ordered Thursday, delivered Monday). Delivery was by Palletline, the driver was very helpful as the stove weighed 98 kilogram! The stove was installed the following day and I am delighted. Very efficient, smart and a good price. I have no hesitation in recommending DirectStoves. Excellent!”

“Easy to use and well presented website made buying the stove uncomplicated. Delivery was fast and I had to make contact to change the delivery address which was done without issue. The stove itself is lovely, the glass front is large so you can see the fire, it admits really good heat too. Very pleased.”
