“Absolutely love the stove, works perfectly. It was a great price and just the style we were looking for. Softer and more vintage look than a very modern one. It’s also a perfect fit for smaller fire places - I was so keen that it didn’t look too small/squat and really wanted a bigger stove - it fits perfectly. The customer service was impeccable too, actually had a customer service guy ring me to let me know it was out for delivery that day, as I was worried about brexit etc - it arrived in time. The only reason I put 4 stars is because the delivery guy wouldn’t bring the stove into our garden even though it’s a straight path to the garden from the road side. My partner and I had to lift it into the garden and house and I put my back and neck out. I have an 8 month old so it’s a massive inconvenience. I’ve never lifted something so heavy in my life and I’m a tall capable lass. I just think actually delivering the stove to your house should be part of the cost. Other than having to recover from lifting the stove we have enjoyed using our lovely stove.”

“It’s only when things go wrong, you can authentically test customer service. Mine had a missing part- no fault of direct stoves.But it was dealt with professionally and replaced and arrived in quick time. The dialogue exchanges were also better than you get with most. They deserve the business.”

“I made an order and it was confirmed after a week I rang to say Celsi fires to say I had heard nothing about delivery Nick from Direct sorted it immediately. I had a query after delivery and again Nick sorted it right away. First Class, I would recommend them.”

“Direct stoves has a easy to navigate website when ordering your chosen stove with a choice of fitting and flue lining kits. We ordered the Canterbury gas stove which was delivered promptly and on time. The reason the review is not five star is because the fitting kit did not have the required parts to actually fit the stove it requires an elbow to turn the flue up the chimney in order for connection to be made to our flue set up! Just be mindful when ordering the fitting kit, it is essentially a 1 m stove pipe and nothing else.”

“Customer Service is outstanding - they were replying to emails at 9pm and when I changed my order and rang next morning to confirm- change had already been made! Outstanding attention to detail & follow up. The stove is marvellous, really well packaged, great delivery, I can't fault them - good people and good products 👍”
