“Sent for a sample to small when It came not even the width of a roll of wallpaper”

Hi Kirstin, Thanks for your message. Our standard samples are cut to a set size so customers can see the colour and texture. It isn’t commercially viable for us to send free full roll width samples, but we can send a returnable one. We take a £10 deposit, which we refund in full when you return the sample or when you order the wallpaper. If you’d like one, just let me know and I’ll get it sent out. Kind regards, Paul Designer Wallpapers

“Whilst the promise on their website is very good , ie, discount, next day delivery, no delivery charges and the choice is excellent. I ordered wallpaper from them on that basis, but wallpaper did not arrive and after 5 days of chasing they admitted that they had a supplier problem and could not supply. I had to go direct to the manufacturer for the paper which h was more expensive, no discount, and an £18 delivery charge. It was very inconvenient and not the service I was expecting. My money was refunded quickly which was about the only good news!”

Hi Katherine, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, and I’m sorry we let you down. You ordered in good faith expecting next-day delivery, and instead you spent five days chasing us before finding out we couldn’t supply the paper. That shouldn’t have happened. The problem was on the supplier’s side. The bigger failure was ours, though: we should have told you as soon as we knew, so you could make other arrangements straight away instead of waiting and chasing. Since then we’ve stopped selling that brand’s wallpapers, so this won’t happen again. We’ve also tightened up how we handle supplier delays, so customers hear from us first. I’m glad the refund came through quickly, but I know that doesn’t make up for the time you lost or the extra cost of going elsewhere. If you’d like to talk it through, please email me directly. Paul
