Our furniture is made to last a lifetime: we happily apply a 50 year guarantee all our solid birch frames. While the fabric is totally up to you, with over 10,000 of the best designer fabrics and leathers from around the world to choose from. We offer delivery to your home direct from the workshop, and we'll assemble your sofa on site in the event of any access problems.

“I have no hesitation in stating that Delcor maintains the highest standard of customer service along with first class workmanship. Recently, I had my Scroll suite of 24 years refurbished for the second time and the painstaking support of the designer, Julie, was incalculable. Unfortunately, there were serious delays in the completion of work at my home, but Delcor made light of the situation and generously stored my furniture for many extra weeks. I can't recommend too highly this brilliant local firm: attention to detail is exemplary and the high quality of both the furniture and its display speak volumes. I am absolutely delighted with my 'new' furniture. Thank you so much to everyone at Delcor's wonderful workshop and showroom in Seaton Delaval, Northumberland. Mrs M.C.Belcher”

“Excellent service. We bought our first Delcor Lofa sofas over 25 years ago and they survived two children and two dogs! They were subsequently moved to France and we have just had loose covers made for both sofas and they look fantastic. Great workmanship, superb fit and all dealings professionally handled. Highly recommended.”

“We are delighted with our two refurbished Lofa Sofas. I cannot praise highly enough the service we received from everyone we dealt with in the company, from Janet in the showroom who took our order, to the delivery men who took our old sofas away and delivered the new ones. The only hiccup was the delay in getting samples, but that was the fault of the manufacturer and not Delcor, and it was swiftly chased up. We would certainly recommend Delcor, and buy from the company in the future.”

“Manager Karen and others at your Altrincham shop were very friendly and professional in helping our choice and making the order and we were well informed about delivery arrangements. The new covers have fitted neatly and we are pleased with our decision to recover keeping our Lofa Sofas which are still in good condition after nearly 20 years.”

“We purchased a Delcor suite in the 80's and were very happy with it. Last year it needed recovering so back to Delcor we went. The showroom staff obviously were unaware of the process, claiming certain things were not an option unless a considerable fee was paid. When our suite was collected, it was obvious that the order had been mixed up, which needed a phone call to rectify. When the suite was returned the delivery men managed to smash a garden vase for which we were compensated. Although we are happy with the suite, we cannot say that our Delcor experience this time has been at all pleasant.”

Dear Mr Bell, Thank you for your feedback following delivery of your refurbished sofa and chair and I am very sorry to hear of your unhappiness with the service you feel you experienced. I understand you placed your first refurbishment order at our Harrogate store in May 2015 and that you decided to cancel this order due to problems we experienced trying to obtain the correct shade of your selected fabric from our supplier, within your required time frame. You kindly reordered with us at our Northumberland store in July 2015 and despite the same problems arising with the same fabric when we tried to obtain your shade of fabric, our supplier generously offered to contact their mill to have the required length of fabric specially woven for your order. This understandably incurred additional time on the original lead time quoted to you which was inevitable I am sure you will agree. I notice various modifications were also made to the original Harrogate order which required additional working and costings and as a Gesture of Goodwill the original price quoted by the Harrogate store in May was honoured and the subsequent modification costs as well as other additional 'optional' costs incurred were offered to you free of charge also. I am sure you will agree that in order to refurbish your sofa and chair exactly to your requested modification and personal bespoke requirement my staff must ensure all aspects and options are confirmed and precise to ensure the furniture in manufactured accurately. I do hope you will accept my apology that you feel your Delcor experience has been a disappointing one and therefore we need to try harder next time. Again I thank you for taking time to complete this review and I trust you will enjoy many years of comfort with your Delcor refurbished furniture. “Had Delcor sofas previously and was so impressed we went straight back to them when we needed something new this time. Needed a large customised sofa corner unit and living on the Isle of Man meant visiting a showroom was not really an option. Received personal advice from owners Rick and Janet on the design and placed the order for a pre-Xmas delivery. When a logistics company let them down they ferried over their own people and vehicle to ensure delivery happened on time. Sofa looks superb. Can't recommend the company, their products and service enough. Lindsey Parnell”

“We are delighted with our new sofas. They are as good as we could ever have hoped for. Very comfy and beautifully made. Our patterned fabric was perfectly matched too. How wonderful to be able to choose not only the sofa design but also the fabric and to alter the height and depth to suit our requirements. I would thoroughly recommend Delcor to my friends and family. The staff were extremely helpful especially in the Altrincham store. Nothing was too much trouble for them.”

“Purchased a new sofa from Stamford in Lincolnshire, staff extremely helpful and attentive to our needs and specification, whilst taking their time to listen to our question. Information was explained clearly and honestly by staff. There was no pressure, samples was explain by quality / cost. We where also given the opportunity to take samples home to ponder over at our leisure. I know the sofa's are more expensive, but well worth the quality, extremely satisfied, had to wait for many weeks for delivery but well worth the wait. Well, done Decor very impressed. The only disappointment we both would have loved to had the opportunity to see how the Sofa's were made. Regards Simon”

“I needed two new chairs for each end of our farmhouse dining table and had spotted a gorgeous fabric from Designers' Guild in a raised purple velvet against a beige background. I found Delcor from a Google search and approached them via email to ask them to make two chairs for me. I picked a chair design from their brochure and commissioned them to make the two pieces. I was very pleased with the result. The chairs are beautifully made and look stunning; they are also extremely comfortable which is good news, as I sit on one while at the computer. OK, so Delcor did not fully design the chair - I picked the fabric, chose the shape of the chair and selected the option for the wooden parts - but they brought the pieces in on time, and the work is very well executed. If I had to criticise anything, it would be that they recommended the wood I should use for the chairs without ever having seen the interior of my home. I ignored them and went for the wood that I thought would suit - and it does. However, other people might be happy to have some creative input from Delcor. At any rate, this was a very successful mission for me - all accomplished by email with no visit to the store necessary - and I would happily use them again for something similar.”

With regards to your feedback about our suggesting a leg colour without seeing your home interior, I can only suggest that perhaps the Sales Consultant thought he was being helpful in offering his opinion on the compatibility of the wooden leg colour alongside your chosen fabric. I am pleased to learn the colour you actually opted for has worked well for you. All in all a successful purchase without having to visit the store. “This review is written after 15 years of use so we can say without doubt that Delcor suites live up to their other 5 star reviews. The frames are very substantially made. Our suite fabric is not showing any wear even after all this time. We highly recommend this company.”
