Our furniture is made to last a lifetime: we happily apply a 50 year guarantee all our solid birch frames. While the fabric is totally up to you, with over 10,000 of the best designer fabrics and leathers from around the world to choose from. We offer delivery to your home direct from the workshop, and we'll assemble your sofa on site in the event of any access problems.

“I have to return. There is nothing I can find of similar quality in my price range. Mine is 20 years old, had 2 most used cushions re -feathered last year. Perfect condition, despite being jumped on slept on and generally abused, but upholstery colour not right for new house. You are no longer in Tunbridge Wells where I purchased my suite, which makes it difficult to discover refurbishment costs V new purchase. Please come back to Kent!”

Good morning Kate Morris It is reassuring to hear your Delcor furniture has withstood the test of time and young children (I assume it is the children doing the jumping!) and you plan on returning to us. Good news. Although no longer in Tunbridge Wells, we do have showrooms on Kings Road, Chelsea in London, Stamford, Altrincham, Harrogate and here at the Head Office in Northumberland. “From initial discussions in local Delcor shop to delivery, everyone was very helpful and courteous. The corner sofa is exactly as described and fits perfectly. The trouble taken over material samples - loan of sample books, etc. - was greatly appreciated. Thank you!”

Being able to see what a fabric will look like in situ is a great advantage, sometimes fabrics look completely different in situ during the morning and evening to how you imagined them, so the fabric samples can be a godsend. Yet again it is reassuring to learn my staff have been most helpful and courteous during your visits to our Showroom. “We've got nothing but praise for the service we received from ALL the staff at Delcor when we were deciding whether to recover our old Delcor suite or buy new. In the end we had it recovered & it arrived yesterday. It looks fabulous - with a few modern 'touches' added - plus we were kept up-to-date to say exactly when it would be with us - & it was! The delivery men were excellent - even when they realised it would be difficult to get it through the door in one piece. Thank you Delcor - we'd certainly recommend you to anyone who asked, Roy & Barbara Hutchinson.”

I must say it is most satisfying and rewarding to read over and over again Customers praise and appreciation of the level of dedication to Customer Service and Care shown to all Customers by all of my staff, from the Sales Consultants with their knowledge of fabrics etc right through to the Delivery Team delivering your furniture safely into the room of your choice in your home. It is wonderful to learn of your delight with your refurbished furniture, with brand new interiors and a refreshing new upholstery covering including the addition of a few modern touches adding to the bespoke quality of your Delcor furniture. It always amazes me how a new upholstery covering can totally change the look of the furniture that has stood in your home for years I'm sure you will agree with me that being able to offer a Disassembly/Assembly on Site service when required is an added bonus when faced with narrow doorways or awkward access, no need to remove valuable paintings or vases to a place of safety. Again I thank you for your most informative review confirming your Delcor experience has been a happy one. “The service received from Delcor from initial contact through to delivery of my reupholstered sofa has been exemplary. The showroom staff couldn't do enough to provide advice and fabric samples; the delivery staff were also helpful and courteous. In addition, your staff were excellent at communicating likely timelines for the whole process and keeping me updated. “I couldn't have been happier with the service I received from Delcor. The Sofa and chairs I liked were made bespoke to exacting specifications. The fabric I had seen on a recent trip to Italy was sourced and absolutely nothing was too much trouble. My sofa and chairs now take pride of place in my lounge and everyone remarks on how beautiful they are. I'm one very pleased customer who wouldn't hesitate to recommend Delcor”

I am so pleased our bespoke service has been of use to you and the fact we offer an Assembly of Site service makes it not only easier for you the Customer in that you are not limited to what you want and where you want it, but also its a lot easier for our Delivery Team who have to physically manoeuvre each piece of solid furniture through sometimes quite awkward narrow doorways and into quirky nooks and crannies .. .. always a lot easier if the furniture is delivered in pieces. “We liked the fact that there is no hard-sell approach and as a customer you are treated very well. Staff listen and try to do whatever they can to help. We liked the range of products and the main selling point for us (over and above the quality, guarantees etc) was the fact that you could tailor an item to meet your exact needs. This is particularly helpful when you are trying to fit a piece of furniture into a specific place. Now that we have the sofa, we can see how well it sits and looks in the room. And in addition, it is comfortable! That is not such a strange thing to say because many sofas and armchairs are very uncomfortable and you are constantly moving to try to get comfortable. With our Delcor sofa you can just sit and relax.”

“The sofa is utterly gorgeous. The hours spent debating shades of dark pink [the ‘frame’] and burnt orange [seat and back cushions] were completely worth it and the Milan design is perfect - clean lines of a pared down Knole, not too stark for an eighteenth century room. The feather and down back cushions are wonderfully plump [o.k. they do push forward a little now but they will settle down]. The people we spoke to in the Kings Road showroom and on the phone were both pleasant and very helpful - complete with sending bits of wood to help me choose the correct legs. My only vague complaint is on the paucity of photos on the web site - seeing the models covered with more and varied fabrics would have helped. Our old Delcor sofa is 29 years old and still going strong - we look forward to our new one lasting as well.”

Dear Mrs Westbury I actually remember seeing this sofa going through production, truly a bespoke piece of upholstered furniture and most eyecatching .. my compliments to you on your selection of fabrics. Regarding the feather and down cushion interiors, you are correct in that they will eventually bed in and settle with use, as with a brand new pair of quality shoes, the more they are used the more comfortable they become.
