“Excellent adjustable and stable ballet barre, it might be slightly heavy for some but manageable if carried on its own. I did attach a small Velcro strap to it in its collapsed portable state to prevent the top bar swinging out during transportation but otherwise an excellent barre. I’m very pleased with it 👍🏼”

“I placed my order from here in Australia only 5 days before I needed the package to get to my Niece in Dubai in time for her birthday. I thought it would never get there in time; I had left it way too late.....or so I thought. After speaking with the most professional and kind customer service agent Scott, the most beautiful dance wear arrived in Dubai in time for my Niece's birthday. When I video zoom called her from Australia, there on the screen was 8 year old Niece Abigail dancing and twirling in her new ballet shoes, pink tights and purple leotard. I haven't seen her for so long and living so far away, it meant the world to me to see her so happy, so joyful doing what she loves the most; to dance. Thank you Scott. Thank you Dance Direct.”

“It's fine if your order is right the first time. But a real headache if there are any issues. We ordered a pair of Revolution tap shoes, but got sent the wrong size. Dance Direct sent us the American size instead. So we returned them, hoping to get the right ones in exchange, as our daughter desperately needs them for a show coming up. After leaving it a couple of weeks, we emailed them, got told they couldn't update us, then emailed again a week or so later... got no reply... and have had to keep badgering them... only to eventually be told they don't have the right size in stock! Now we're really struggling to find the right shoes in the short time we have left before her show. It's been a major headache. Absolutely awful customer service.”

Thank you for the review. I am sorry you have not been able to get the shoes you require. The manufacturers all work to different sizing standards and we publish their sizing charts to try to help you get the correct size but are aware that this does not guarantee a perfect fit and there is sometimes confusion between the manufacturers sizing and the standard UK sizing. I will pass on the issues you have had with the team to the manager as we pride ourselves on good customer service.

“What do you do when your daughter announces on a Friday that they need a new dance leotard for a performance the following Wednesday?! I searched the internet, paying close attention to the delivery guidance, and it appeared that no company would meet the deadline. However…… I ordered from Dance Direct, in the hope that they could exceed the delivery estimates on the website. I emailed them immediately after order to see if there was anything they could do. I was immediately contacted by Amira, customer service representative, who said that she had spoken to the warehouse to see if they could help. I was ecstatic when the leotard arrived on Monday and was a perfect fit! Thankyou so much for the excellent customer service and quality of product. 😀⭐️”
