“Good idea - but the search features on this website could be a lot better. There doesn’t seem to be a way to filter hotels that are available on the desired nights, within a certain budget, in a certain area.”

“We were a little unsure when we booked the hotel in Bedford as we had not been there before but were highly delighted with the staff, service and hotel atmosphere. Decor was excellent and looked as though time and effort was put into every aspect to give you that feeling of something special. This is one to put on your revisit list when you need to get away for a short break”

“Booked online for 2 nights at the Daffodil Hotel in the Lake District. easy enough. went through with no problems including payment. Complications arose when I decided to add another day! I phoned the hotel directly and was told I had to go back online. Wasn't looking forward to this, however, I managed to get a direct phone number, and the very capable Sophie liaised with the Hotel to move rooms about to accommodate us. First time using Country Hotel Breaks. This won't be the last. Thank you, Sophie. Sorry for being a nuisance.”

“Booking was easy but finding hotels on the website wasn’t totally straightforward. You can search by regions or hotel name but it would have been useful to search by town. I’d seen a hotel that I was interested in previously but then couldn’t find it again”

“Country Hotel Breaks was very obliging when I asked for their help in finding hotels in the southeast of the UK that had a walk-in shower or shower in a bath with grab rails on either the ground floor or first floor. Within a few hours they had sent me details of four hotels that were all suitable. I booked one. Again, the information I received about the booking was very clearly set out. In my opinion, Country Hotel Breaks did a great job.”

“Easy and versatile way to book a short break. Hotels are of a good standard and usually as per the description. Good choice of accommodation from pubs with rooms to more high end so suit a variety of tastes and needs. Excellent customer service from Country Hotel Breaks on each occasion I’ve had to telephone them. I’ve booked several trips now using vouchers and never experienced any issues or difficulties. Highly rated!”
