“Although the service I had from everyone I was in contact with, was excellent, the fact that as a single person I had to go through the support team is unacceptable in my opinion. Packages and room availability should cater for the single traveller as well as for couples. Having said that, they did all they could to eventually find me suitable accommodation in the Cotswolds, my area of preference.”

“As this was a gift for my wife's 65 birthday,we were bitterly disappointed. The hotel and our room were faultless. The meal however,was worse than awful. We ordered our complimentary cocktails and after waiting an hour were told that they were on the way. I was given the wrong starter so my wife had to eat hers without me. We then waited over an hour for our mains which were adequate at best. We then waited 30 minutes for our dessert which they said was on the house. As I had paid £88 towards the meal this was no help at all. As I had asked for a fine dining experience,I was bitterly disappointed.”

The booked fee is not added at the end of the booking process, it is within the total price shown on the package, we include the fees within our prices as we prefer not to mislead with headline rates that can't be booked. It is then broken down on the first page of the booking process with the cost of the package and the booking fee, so not hidden. We do have to charge a small servicing fee to go towards the costs of providing "with you all the way" service. “Very annoying to complete booking application and then be told the centre will liaise with hotel before confirming. Surely centre should have all information. Lady who rang me was very pleasant but system is not good enough”

Dear Customer It is disappointing to receive your 2 star review. A handful of our 240 hotels within our portfolio are on a request basis, we state this at the beginning of the booking process, which says - offers showing provisional availability are subject to confirmation with the hotel and availability is not guaranteed. No funds will be taken from your card until the booking is confirmed, which will usually be within a few hours. Most of our hotels are on instant availability and will be confirmed immediately. I can see your booking was confirmed by the hotel 45 minutes after you made the request online. We are also here 7 days a week if you'd prefer to call and we can then call the hotel to check availability if it is on request, rather than you doing online. “Website was easy to use. Prices were set out showing what was included ie what type of room, what meals etc, plus sample menus and requests for dietary requirements. MUCH better than something like Tripadvisor, where you do not know what is included in the 'Room Rate'.”
