“I recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a pleasant experience. The property itself is well-maintained, clean, and comfortable—definitely a good place to unwind. What truly stood out was the staff: incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Their hospitality made the stay feel warm and welcoming. However, the food was a bit of a letdown. Despite the inviting atmosphere, the dining options were very, very average. Nothing was particularly bad, but nothing memorable either. If you're a foodie looking for standout meals, you might want to explore nearby restaurants instead. In short: great hotel, fantastic staff, but the culinary experience could use a bit of a boost.”

“Upon booking through the website I received a code for £25 off your first booking over £250. We had received a voucher for £200 as a gift so thought that it was great I wouldn't have to pay much however the code would not work despite the booking being £255. I spoke to a member of staff on the phone who advised to go ahead and they would watch for the booking coming through and manually add it. This did not happen and I've paid £55. Disappointing service.”

“The sourcing and booking process was fairly easy and I was able to find a hotel that met all of our requirement. The website provided all necessary information to evaluate each location without referring out to other websites or by making phone calls / chat”

“Slightly confusing booking through the website. We’d been given a voucher valid for a stay at one of the ‘classic country getaway collection’. I had a look on the website and chose a hotel - but when I entered the voucher code it was only valid at a limited number of those hotels, not the full collection. The hotel we had planned to stay at wasn’t listed as bookable using the voucher. Not very clear - and a bit disapppinting.”

“Once the computor could log oto the site all wet well. The information provided is complete and informative. All the photographs are clear and simple to work out what is on offer. We had a problem choosing what hotel to visit, because all looked great.”

“Settting was really nice, quiet and peaceful. The young man on the front desk when we arrived was very friendly and the the other young man that looked after us in the evening for our pre dinner drink and meal was exceptional and so friendly. The meal was very good but we were disappointed as the menu did not change for the other nights so decided to give it a miss. We found the way they kept tidying and cleaning tables especially at breakfast while we were still eating very annoying and not at all mannerly. We also found the women that were on reception in the morning very unwelcoming always chatting together, on phones etc and never raising their heads to say good morning. The room itself was very comfortable and clean and tidied daily. We were also very annoyed on the morning we checked out that they knocked on our door at 11.50 to tell us we should have checked out at 11 but we told them we had a late check out till 12 as part of our 3 night stay, again it was a women and we were made to feel very low as in all our travels all over the world and the UK never in our lifes had we a knock on the hotel door to tell us we should have left by then. All in all not a good experience and would not warrant us to go back.”

“I found the site easy to navigate. I was able to purchase a night away for my husband’s birthday easily and with plenty of choice. Dinner bed and breakfast deals were very good value so hopefully the actual experience will live up to the booking.”

“The website was very easy to use, with lots of excellent options. Having chosen the hotel and package, we contacted the hotel direct because one of the party is a disabled traveller and we had special requirements which we wanted to ensure would be available for the date we had chosen. Having established that they were, we went back to your website to book. We received the pending notification, and then a phone call from a very. Ice lady, who said our booking had been declined by the hotel. She was very apologigetic when I explained that I had already spoken to the hotel. Eventually we received confirmation of the booking and we are looking forward to our stay. I just felt that the hotel didn't come out of it too well!”
