A great place to find a Quality Hotel in a prime location with great food and wine. So many choices. My wife and I are discovering new places down quaint lanes and fabulous countryside. Have a great time discivering too!

Was a bit confused to begin with as we had a ‘Luxury Hotel Break’, and we were looking at the wrong hotels, after a chat with a helpful lady on the end of the phone, she steered us in the right direction.

Didn’t find the site easy to use. Would be better if there was some sort of filter on. Also had to click on quite a few hotels to find out the exact location.

Used this organisation many, many times and booked a variety of hotels which my wife and family have used over several years. The deals on offer are good and we will continue to use the Web site for further bookings. Always a good variety of places to visit using their hotels.

We were bought a voucher as a present, so were forced to use your website. On looking for a hotel we found it limited, but more importantly when comparing with Bookings.com the price of the hotels we were looking at were 25% more through your website. It's obvious that you inflate the hotel prices to make money from the voucher scheme and we will certainly not be recommending you, in fact we would suggest people avoid using yourselves and instead get a voucher direct with a hotel.

Our breaks aren’t always directly comparable to room only or bed and breakfast rates that you may see elsewhere. The packages available on our website are specially negotiated with the hotels and typically include a range of added extras such as dinner, drinks, late checkout, upgrades or other perks, which are reflected in the overall price. Because of this, they can sometimes appear higher than a basic rate shown on comparison sites, but they are designed to offer better overall value for a stay experience rather than just the room. We certainly don’t inflate hotel prices for voucher guests. The voucher simply contributes towards the package you choose. This is the second time I have used Country Hotel Breaks. The booking process is very straight forward but it is advisable to have very clear idea of requirements, eg region, price range, because of the vast number of offers available.

My daughter in law gave us a voucher for a 1 night stay which she booked is a cosy room for 1 night. I emailed country breaks to ask to extend d our stay to 2 nights and upgrade our room as we have 2 dogs and the booked room only allowed for 1 dog. Rather that replying to my email you decided to contact my daughter in law to ask them for a further payment for our stay. I found this rather embarrassing as it looked like we were unappreciative of their original gift. I have no idea why you chose to ignore my contact details and go back to the person who bought a gift voucher. Ultimately it has lost you business as we’ve decided not to stay an additional night now

When you later contacted us, our system showed the purchaser’s contact details as the lead booker, which is why our reply went to her rather than to you. We completely understand how this would have appeared and apologise for the confusion. The new booking has been created fully in your name and email address so all future correspondence will come directly to you.
