“The razor was perfect and one of the best I've used. It's actually a joy to shave with it. So smooth and doesn't pull on hairs. The scrub was good, and the balm was so much better than the nice version I'd been using. Still not sold on the shaving gel though. Probably leave it off my order next time.”

“Closest shave i've had. Been using Gillette Fusion for years. The Cornerstone razor gives a closer shave. And the shaving gel is excellent too. Very satisfied”

“I've have electric shaved for years and l was dubious about how good Cornerstone could be, l only tried it because l was offered a hefty discount. Oh my word it is really good. I've always shaved against the grain previously, l decided to try the guidance and shave with the grain. It works! The products are excellent, post shave balms have always irritated me, not this one. I shave once a week and l have tough beard; a blade lasts me three shaves. There is a great theatre to wet shaving and Cornerstone really complements this. I have given up on wet shaving, l am a Cornerstone convert.”

“I'm one of those unfortunate women who has male pattern facial hair to to major hormone imbalance. I have always used Mach3 razors but after seeing these blades on Facebook thought I'd give them a go. They arrived in a very nice box with my initials on the handle. The first time I used it along with baby oil gel (it smells nicer than shave gel and works for me) took a couple of strokes to get the right angle, pressure etc but I found it was great. My face stays prickle free for longer and the blade lasts longer too. I have set to receive a repeat delivery every 6 weeks. Thanks Cornerstone.”

“Build quality of the blades isn't what the razor should be not sharp enough and nowhere near compared to gillette fusion.”

“When it's wet the handle slips and slides out of my hand especially in the shower needs total redesign with some type of grip either machined on to it or ruberise grip”

“What a razor. I haven't really shaved for about 15 years as my wife liked a bit of stubble so I simply trimmed with a beard trimmer. Then I just decided to go smooth. I purchased a cheap razor and almost cut myself to bits, but she liked the smooth feel and we decided for a change that the stubble would go. So I got another razor and that still felt awkward, pulled and left lots of little cuts; probably because I had to go over the same area more than once. I had seen adverts on line for different subscriptions all using German engineered blades and liked the chat with the Cornerstone agent (on-line) and also what they offer so took the plunge. What can I say? The first stroke with a brand new razor was incredible. I had a bit of stubble and it just went through with ease, no need for a second stroke in the same place it was so smooth. The face scrub, the shaving gel and balm are lovely; nice smells, nice feel. I am now shaving every 2 or three days and intend to change heads every fortnight; looking forward to Saturdays shave ;)”

“Cornerstone, simply put is a fantastic idea and I wished that I found it earlier. As a previous Gillette user, I was always frustrated by the amount their blades cost. Hence, I found Cornerstone through a quick search and I was immediately impressed by the package and the different shave plans available. In my few years of shaving, I have never been able to achieve a more comfortable and close shave than what I got from the products provided by Cornerstone. From now, this is the one and only place I will go for shaving and I intend to spread the word to all my male friends who like myself get annoyed by the cost of ordinary blades from the supermarket.”

“Heard about Cornerstone as a Guardian Football Weekly listener and thought I'd give them a go. Very pleased with how quick it arrived in Jersey Channel Islands and the general presentation and the style of their brand etc. The shave was pretty good as well :-) Like the flex head rather than the traditional hinged type as seems to feel like its doing a better job. Seem like a nice company with a personal touch taking on the big boys, so good luck to them.”

“I have been using the razor for one week now so here are my initial thoughts: I have used one blade that has lasted seven shaves and day eight tomorrow will be interesting to see if the performance continues as it is or it tails off. The blade travels smoothly and it is the easiest blade to clean - I have been wet shaving for more than 40 years - and I have never had a blade set that cleans so quickly and perfectly. I am not sure that I like the red polymer insert in the end of the handle. I can understand why it is there but I think its presence cheapens the look of the razor. I teach Design in a secondary school so I do have an interest in aesthetics. Aluminium would look better on the end rather than the polymer insert but then that's just my view and aesthetics are very personal. I think the three letter personalisation is a really nice touch and a selling point too. The handle looks as though it has been die cast and the weight is good with a nice balance. I do think that the blade to handle attachment is cleverly done. So often attachment points are also weak points but I believe this design will have some durability. Only time will tell of course. I really like the fact that the razor is a British design. I do hope that in the near future the manufacturing process will move to these islands too. We need the jobs! The packaging was all rather swish. I opted only for the basic starter pack but I have photographed all the elements to share with my design students. So, well done. As good as and possibly getting better than I originally hoped for. Not sure what I hoped for really! Oh - its a good shave too. I didn't mention that. You just have to remember to lay the whole blade flat on your face and to put some pressure on to keep it there. The pivoting point on most wet shaving systems does just that - it pivots. This is more of a 'bender' You have to put the blade into the 'flat against your face' position so that all the blades are in contact with the skin. Good start!”

“For someone who doesn't actually shave that often and usually makes a buying decision based on the website and the product reviews I gave this a try. Great delivery time, great presentation, great product. Honestly, I've kept the products still in their position within the box just because it's laid out so well and everything has it's place. Also, the price.. I mean we all know that buying blades for our razors are expensive and for the most part a huge inconvenience.. I managed to somehow only spend £20.00 and get an engraved handle, 6 blades, pre-shave lotion, shave gel and moisturizer. 8 blades alone for Gillette fusion blades cost that & sometimes more. I could go on and write an essay, but i'm so pleased so far.. oh and the shave itself is brilliant. Thanks guys at Corner Stone, I think what you're doing is awesome.”

“Hi just got my new cornerstone razor and had my first shave with the razor and have found that it was a uncomfortable shave my face feels sore and red and wasn't as cleaner shave as my old razor, my overall few of this product takes me back to shaving with a old type of undoing the top of it and putting in a single blade so I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone else.”
