“Hi I have just got my pack and started my shaving at once it is incredible the smoothness after a shave I have been shaving for 55 years and I have never felt so good and smooth congratulations to cornerstone on such a superb product.”

“Recently purchased cornerstone razors and shaving products. It's the best shave I've ever had and beats Wilinsin & Gillette hands down. I have a course stuble and the blades still sharp. Amazing value great shave and best of all delivered straight to my door. Vincent Smith.”

“Cornerstone is a good concept, but the blades feel cheap to use, I chose to try them as an alternative to straight edge and twin blade but they simply are not a match to Gillette Contour. As no safety razor is. They are simply too large to to accurately shave under the nose. Shame.but must go back to ridiculously overpriced blades.”

Oh no! I'm so sorry you feel this way, Dan, but I'm glad you've found something that works for you. You might be pleased to know that we're working on a new razor with a more flexible head, better blade spacing and a single trimming blade at the back for those twiddly hard to reach places.

“Very impressed with the whole package. Razors great quality and last loads longer than my previous shaver. The supplied products are great, I didn't think I would need the scrub cream but it makes a huge difference and I really like the shaving gel. Have recommended already to others. Only thing stopping the 5 stars is I think razor could do with a small razor bit to get in harder to reach places, for me just under the nose.”

“The blade handle looks cool but I found after a week of using it the shine from the blade handle disappeared. The blade handle after a 2 weeks of use has dark grey patches all over it, I find the blade for me does not last more than one shave before they go blunt compare this to other well known brands it is poor. They say "Our products are seriously good: German-engineered " maybe they got lost on the way to Germany and ended up in Romania. Really disappointed as I really like to support local business.”

“Found the quality of the razor blades poor, nowhere near the standard of Gillette. Had quite a few cuts, but stayed with it for two packs worth just to make sure it was not me just getting used to it. However I have now decided to discontinue as it hasn't got better. Have cancelled my shave plan.”

“Just received my starter pack of razor + blades, shave gel & shaving balm. Items arrived as advised within 48 hours! Took time out to try them and had grown substantial stubble for the first use.....wow!! Brilliant razor, smooth gel & great balm really soothing and refreshing. Can't recommend highly enough.”

“The razor and heads arrived very quickly. To achieve any cutting with this razor it is necessary to bend the cheap plastic of the head, and keep it bent. This means you have to apply more pressure than is safe or comfortable. The results are razor burn and a sore face. It also adds to the risk of nicks and cuts. Poor design and quality. Would not recommend.”

“The razor is a great design; it is light and effortless to use. The blades feel like they are balanced on a tiny flexible spring yet the razor itself feels wholesome. All in all, good effort.”

“Razor has a design flaw. It doesn't rotate far enough to permit accurate shaving below the nose. Disappointing as this is kinda a basic requirement.”

“I have just paused my subscription for the blades but will persist with the other products. I am disappointed with the razor as the blades are too wide and it is impossible to shave out of the way places such as your nose. I will be going back to my Mach 3 until they make improvements. It is just so quick and easy with the Mach 3.”

“When my first box arrived l was blown away by the packaging, it was a masterclass in visual and textural advertising. Similarly, the handle is beautiful and l love the fact that it stays upright without needing a fiddly ugly plastic stand to do the job.The shave itself is harder to review. The first few shaves l was quite happy. However the blades do seem to have a tendency to nick your face which is annoying. I literally can't remember the last time l cut myself shaving before. Also the blades are very close together which means they clog very quickly and you seem to be forever rinsing the blade. Lastly l do miss the single blade at the back that you get with a Fusion, great for under the nose and sideburns. I'm still going with Cornerstone for the moment though, the shave is very close, the razor handles well and In sure faults will be ironed out and improvements made. Plus, you can't go wrong with the opening deal they offer can you! It's worth a punt all day long.”

“I just paused my subscription. In principle, I think this is a good idea and the razor handle is very nice - much better than the generic mach 3. I really wanted to like it... However, the most important part of the shaving experience is the razor itself, and this definitely falls short of what I used before (a Gillette Mach 3). Firstly, I have not had so many shaving cuts since I used a cheap disposable when I forgot my razor while on a business trip years ago. Secondly, the blade is too wide to shave narrow, difficult to reach places (just under my nose, for instance). After a couple of shaves with the Cornerstone, I went back to the Mach 3, was a lot more cavalier with my shaving - doing it quickly and violently, and still did not cut myself as much as my careful wet-shave after a hot shower with the Cornerstone. It's not a bad product by any stretch, and the packaging and delivery system and website are all great. But ultimately, if the shaving experience falls short - well why would I use it?”

“Prompt delivery in a sturdy box. Razor handle is very good, lightweight but sturdy. The blades are excellent, the closest shave I have ever had. The delivery system is a great idea and this can be easily altered online if need be. All in all I am very satisfied with Cornerstone.”

“Just wanted to send some positive feedback about my recent cornerstone purchase. The razor and blades are fantastic the closest shave I've ever had. It took me 3 shaves to get used to the razor after switching from Wilkinson Sword hydro 5 and I'll never go back. Also the face scrub, shave gel and after shave balm are all excellent quality with no irritation after shaving since the switch, first-class. Simon W”

“I like the razor handle and the engraving is a nice touch the delivery is a great idea too and the price is reasonable. My one complaint would be in the blade itself, I feel it needs more lubrication so it glides better. When I'm shaving it feels like its pulling slightly. Other than that I'm pleased with the product”

“Been using Gillette razors for so long, so wasn't very open about change. Seen on various sites online how well your company was doing as a startup so decided to support your cause and try your package. Excellent packaging, very aesthetically pleasing. Love how it includes leaflets and little articles too, shows you care about the consumer. The engraved handle is such a nice touch though at no extra cost, I think it's great! The shaving did not dissapoint! The reviews didn't tell lies I was very satisfied after my first cornerstone shave! The razors glide very easy and you can tell they are very high performance. I used the products aswell which came with the scrub,gel and balm and could not fault. Would recommend to anyone and I enjoy supporting smaller start up businesses that are doing well for themselves. Hats off to you Regards James”
