“New Razor: I've just finished trying it out. I hadn't shaved for two days so it was in for a good test! Great shave, very smooth and the shaving cream was spot on, only needed a small amount. I particularly like the razor as it is just the bit heavier than some, so makes for a steady shave. All in All Top Marks! I'd definitely recommend this to others. Thanks again for your Customer Service.... Impressed!”

“I signed up for the cornerstone subscription service just as they were moving from the old style blade to the new blade. My first package arrived with the old blade and I was really pleased with the shave. Unfortunately the next package arrived with the new blades and are nowhere near as good so I cancelled my subscription. Happily I've found another subscription service that uses the original blades, I think they bought the German manufacturing company, and I'm back to a really smooth shave.”

“I have always been with Gillette/Wilkinson however I had Cornerstone recommended to me through a friend. I decided to give it a go. When it arrived it was nicely packaged and really felt like a high class grooming product. You can easily manage your account online and for my first box I got the shave gel - less foamy than the Gillette ones I used to use but I quite like that. It also worked really well and smelt nice. As for the razor, the weight added a premium feel and having your initials engraved was a nice touch. The shave is definitely one of the best I've had but the convinience and ease of use means I definitely won't be going back to buying from a supermarket. Any questions I had with the customer service team were responded to instantly. Fantastic product”

“I was more than happy with the original blades which gave an excellent shave. Then Cornerstone completely reinvented their product. I've used it twice and its a terrible shave. Accounts on pause - email sent asking for a refund the 2 boxes of new type razor blades. If the original blades are no longer available I'm going to be an ex customer. I must say their new shaving foam is excellent.”

“I do like the products, but I prefer the old blades to be honest. They were a much better shave. Not to impressed with the new ones.”

“The whole concept of Cornerstone is a great idea, the box you receive is well presented, with the personalized handle and cream / gels that are part of the package are excellent. The service is great with up to date info on where your package is at and when it arrives it looks perfect. However, this is where Cornerstone fall short compared to the big boy brands they are competing with in the UK market. For me, personally I feel the blades are not good enough. I have suffered a shaving rash every time I use my razor even when using the gel and after balm the feeling on my neck afterwards is at times unbearable causing a shaving rash that I never normally get whist shaving, In addition to this I have to shave again the next day and believe me I am twice a week kind a'guy, on the whole the blades in my opinion do not provide a close enough shave. Sorry guys but I wont be continuing my subscription.”

“I genuinely cannot understand what is going on here .... I cant fathom whether the blades are horrific or it is the gel that is causing such irritation to my face, not only does it not get close to the top brand razors in the market but I also have to shave again the next day, which for me is very unusual. I am also left with nasty shaving rash which I have never experienced before. I shall not be renewing my subscription, sorry.”

“I'm not happy with the new blades and razor I feel it doesn't give as good a shave as previous blades after shaving this morning I now need to shave again please please go back to your old ones its actually my partner that uses them”

Hey, thanks for taking the time out to leave us a review! Unfortunately, our shave gel isn't made to lather. We would recommend going for our shave cream, as it offers more of a lather than our gel and is blended with bamboo and willow bark (smells fab!)

“Been looking for a perfect shave for a long time, I have eventually found what I'm looking for. A mail order service that delivers on time, the Razors stay sharp after many shaves and the handle feels like a quality product. I highly recommend Cornerstone.”

“I love the new handles and the upgrade overall! Amazing as I before left cornerstone because the old handles were a pain when replacing the blades. Today was my first shave with the new handle and at first I didn't even feel any resistance so I thought it must be not shaving properly BUT I was wrong! It was so smooth that you don't feel any resistance when you shave WOW! Great job Cornerstone! The shaving gel, facial scrub and lastly the after shave are brilliant. I got sensitive skin with rough hairs so shaving with a good razor like Cornerstone is a must. Love it good job Cornerstone!”

“Not only are the new handles hard to hold ( and slightly shorter than the old handles ) the new baldes do not shave as closely on my beard. I have tested the old baldes against the new blades and the old blades cut sharper and closer than the new blades and erform longer. . So glad I have cancelled my subscription 2 strikes Cornerstone sorry ....”

“The new blade design is nowhere as good as the old type It seems blunt...wished I could still order old type blade's its a much closer shave. Not sure if I will carry on with them....”

“Have been with Cornerstone for a couple of years. Great service and brand. I did have a problem once when a delivery came without the blades. One e-mail and their phone call sorted it. New razor: good weight and easy to use. Blades give a better shave.”

“Really disappointed, very poor shave, very poor blades, about as good as a three month old Mach three blade!. Great business model, not bad value, the idea of blades delivered is great, but just a really rubbish product. I have cancelled online no problem and sent an explanatory email so no hassle from these at all, really sorry to leave but theres no future in it.”
