“I don't like the new blades. It seems like Cornerstone have looked for a cheaper version. Fiddly to fit and don't give a good shave. Sorry”

“Previous razor gave a better shave and fitted better in the hand whilst using it”

“Your 'new' style razor handle was apparently designed by a panel of experts (according to your promotional bumps) but despite this I still find the handle too slippery when wet and trying to fit the 'new' blades to the handle is not as simple as with my Gillette razor. So I find myself not as impressed with it as I had hoped.”

“The date you select for when you want to receive your next razors should incorporate the delivery time of 2-3 days. For example if I select Thursday 7th, the box should be released by you to Royal Mail on the Tuesday or the Monday.”

“Hi,I have been a customer now for a while so I would like to let you know something about the product, yes the razor blades are good but the new type razor itself I do not like I prefer the old type razor. The new razor is far to slippery in your hands when it gets wet and could actually cause an accident I have had to put rubber bands on the handle to get a grip properly, hope you check it out yourself.thanks regards Ewen J a steele.”

“Initially the product idea was good, but, a lot of the advertising blurb is turning out to be just hype, for example, they say do not dry shave, & never against the grain, but their advertising emails show a barber doing precisely this, they say never use a blade twice, sorry, but I get 2 very decent shaves from one blade providing I clean it thoroughly, they say never shave against the grain, I have to shave with the grain, across the grain in both directions & against it just in order to get a close shave, such is the way the hair on my face grows, this product was produced for whipper-snappers looking to remove a bit of bum fluff, the blade itself is far too big to cut the sideburns above my ear or to get to the hair around my nose safely, this product only works if you have 45 minutes+ to spare on a single shave, most blokes operate under the four S routine, shit, shave, shampoo, shower, & all done in under 10 minutes, buy it if you want, but frankly its a toy for the occasional treat..”

We have tried to develop this razor for all different kinds of persons but we understand it will not suit everyone. Sorry again for the disappointment.

“Since the new blades have been introduced I have been slightly disappointed with them on two points. 1. when using a new blade for the first time the blade seems to drag across my skin. 2. I find it difficult to change the blade directly from the container to the razor handle, I much preferred the previous blade and handle.”

“I'm not happy with the new blades and razor I feel it doesn't give as good a shave as previous blades after shaving this morning I now need to shave again please please go back to your old ones its actually my partner that uses them”

Hey, thanks for taking the time out to leave us a review! Unfortunately, our shave gel isn't made to lather. We would recommend going for our shave cream, as it offers more of a lather than our gel and is blended with bamboo and willow bark (smells fab!)

“Not the upgrade I expected. Having heard all the advertisements and reviews I thought this might be worth a try. I don't know what all the fuss is about. It's on a par with a Mach 3 in my opinion. I'm not a regular wet shaver and this product isn't going to tempt me to change. I can see why people like a subscription service but I am not one of them. I prefer to order things as and when I want them. It's not a bad product. Just not what I expected from the hype.”

I am sorry you felt like we tied you into a subscription Simon. All of our users can pause their account at any time and place one off orders. It is also a shame to hear you did not like the Cornerstone shave. We have developed a new razor that we are extremely proud of but we do understand it may not be suitable for everyone.
