“I was really excited about getting better shaving results with the Cornerstone set. It arrived nicely packed about 5 days after delivery, with the weekend in between, which is fine. The package is nice and the handle with the engraving is definetelly a nice touch. Unfortunatelly that's where the pluses end for me. 1. The face scrub. First of all, i dont think you should exfoliate your face too often, especially if you have sensitive skin (like in my case). Secondly the scrub is really messy to use and the consistency of it is quite rough, dry and not soapy at all. Perhaps it's a matter of getting used to but i tried my wife's exfoliator and it was still effective but not so messy and mush more pleasant experience. This way or the other, didn't work for me at all and also, in my case IT DOESN"T MAKE ANY DIFFERENCE in terms of shaving. 2. Shaving gel - was alright but nothing extraordinary. Works like any other shaving thing, i use just any hair conditioner that i have at hand (sic!) and get the same if not better results. 3. The shaver and blades - here comes my biggest disappointment. Firstly i was thinking that perhaps my skin and hand just need to get used to that. So i used it for around 6-8 shavings and i have to admit that my old shaving tool (i will skip the brand intentionally here) was smoothier, faster, gentlier for my skin and especially more accurate. Forconfirmation i even shaved half of my face with the Cornerstone gel and blade and the other with the hair conditioner and my previous shaver. I got better results with the old one and not it was more sensitive as well. 4. The aftershave - i think the best product from all the stuff included. Absorbs quickly, not a lot of chemicals, smells alright but not too strong and leaves face hydrated. So overall, i expected much MUCH more, sorry to say - nice try but definetelly overhyped product in terms of the results you're going to get. Maciej”

We're actually already working on a new, thicker formula for the face scrub, that you might prefer. Many of our members prefer the feel of a Cornerstone shave, but ultimately it does come down to personal preference, and I'm sorry it hasn't been the right product for you. “Clicked an ad on Twitter by mistake (shameful) but thought I'd give it a go for a mere £4 for just the razor/blades. Am mostly impressed. 4 days growth and the razor did seem to drag the hairs a bit (am using Nivea shave gel). Plus def don't like the lack of an angle on the head compared to what I'm used to. BUT it did shave me very closely and my neck doesn't seem irritated like it sometimes can be. Will persevere & see. The design and packaging are excellent though. Even if it didn't fit through my normal letter box”

“Loved the deliveries and the design of the products but the quality was questionable. The shave was average but I wouldn't recommend for those with sensitive skin, I've had a few shaves with it now and my necks been red-raw. Great product: shame it doesn't seem compatible with me.”

Our razors use sharp, fine blades, designed to reduce drag and irritation, so many members with sensitive skin do report benefiting from the use of a Cornerstone razor. “The blades are good, as good as anything I've used before & importantly for me, cheap compared to other brands I have used in the past. I have never been a fan of using shave gels & after shave balms. I cannot see the former to shave properly & the latter always seem greasy. However, I have tried Cornerstone's offering & they are really different. The shave gel has just enough of a signature for me to see where I need to shave & it does make my skin feel good. This is a new experience for me. The after shave balm leaves my skin feeling refreshed with a delicate tingle. I'm sure this won't work for everybody but I'm very impressed & would recommend the service. Engraving your initials on the razor handle is a nice touch as well. These guys do seem to have thought about their offering; definitely worth a try.”

“Last evening I received a charming email from the customer services manager, the products I have found to be good quality and I'm considering signing my son's up. I shave daily and the deal is with the products is very good value. Credit where credit is due, I do appreciate good customer service and cornerstone I would rate at 100%”

“Received my order on Tuesday and I was really impressed with the presentation and style! Straight away I started my shaving routine and at first I was a little disappointed, the face scrub was very watery and seem to be just a little lacking. However it did the job! Carrying on, the shaving gel although very different from anything id used before, I found it fantastic. Smelt great, there was no messy foaming and it felt really firm on the skin. The shave was brilliant, I have struggled in the past to get a close shave without irritation and this was exactly what I was looking for! The post shave balm smelt and felt great against the skin, my little girl even commented on the feel of my face and how nice it smelt! A very happy customer who would recommend to anyone!”

“Cannot recommend the products highly enough, I've been wet shaving for over 30 years and these are the best products I've ever used in this time. Shave gel coupled with sharp blades gives a lovely smooth shave and the post shave balm leaves skin feeling revitalised and fresh. Great products at a very reasonable price considering the quality!”

“I didn't know a shaker could be so sleek. I love the stainless steel design and the added touch of personalizing the handle. I know the shaving experience far superior to that of my Gillette razor, the Cornerstone being much smoother. This is a great product.”

“I took delivery of my first box last night and used it. Can I say what a fantastic product; I used the wash, blade and shaving gel. All are simply fantastic and the closest shaving experience I’ve had in memory. I’m a convert and will try the balm in the next order. Not that I needed it, despite having very sensitive skin. I cannot recommend Cornerstone highly enough.”

“Awesome products! I can truly say it is best razor I've ever used! (I've tried many different razors) All razors I've used in the past had irritated my skin and left it in a rash not this one though it's smooth and close cut. Happy days!”
