“I received cheaper quotes going direct to company sites, also i was exposed to scammers like "VanLineDirect". I wouldn't recommend confused.com to anybody. Have a great day”
“Found a quote online was then sent though to the provider to be told I could not have that quote and services that was offer then the quote was then given to me again with the service at over twice the price”
“Went to Confused.com for my van insurance quote and got a quote £70 cheaper than my present insurer's , but the next day Adrian Flux the insurer's I chose sent an email saying they needed to confirm some details and after confirming and changing some details they said I had got wrong, They promptly charge me another £160, £80 of which was administration,
So No will never use Confused again and I will never use Adrain Flux again
The moral of the story Check your details before submitting and don't just rely on putting your Reg number in”
“There is a company on your website called Nova direct the customer service is nothing short of shocking and they are basically a fraudulent company no one ever use Nova direct they will not give you a policy number until you cancel just so they can collect the admin fees.”
“The prices you quote are deceptive as when passed over to the actual insurer's website on checking the information passed by you to them it is inaccurate and when corrected on their site doubles the premium.
If I hadn't checked and the error had been found during a claim process the insurer would likely refuse the claim as incorrect information had been supplied.
Not impressed, something of a con.”
“Using Confused's site was very easy and quick, although when I went for van insurance with Sterling, nowhere does it give Camper van option, so, because my van is a camper van, they processed my insurance cover through Flux, and for an extra £70. Just for the record, nowhere on Sterling or Confused.com's blurb, does it have Cmper van.”
“Took out some insurance and took out the insurance at a set price. Received a phone call straight after from the insurer asking me to confirm my details. After confirming the same details I entered online I was told there was going to be a £400 increase with no explaination why.
Ended up going direct with LV and received a much lower price and better customer service.”
“van line direct?👎👎👎👎
I filled out a online form in which I clearly stated I was not the owner and would not be the owner of the van I was trying to get insured in, it seemed not to be a problem and after more questions I was asked to pay a deposit for my insurance which I did. After getting confirmation that I was insured in the van I then received a call from van line direct to say that I had filled the from out incorrectly and that I would not be getting my deposit back , I feel like they was trying to get more money out of me for this insurance policy.
I wouldn’t even recommend this company to my enemy’s .

“found what i thought was a competitive quote before purchase. went ahead and bought vehicle. came back to quote and was unable to follow link. went back in to site to discover when it had gone up £50 even though no changes had been made. Felt this was a cynical marketing ploy to attract potential customers. not happy at all. first time I have used confused.com and was not impressed at all.”
