The Confused.com quotes were misleading as both options I followed through were not able to contimue/proceed with a quote. The notice did not give reason why, just directed me to a broker –whose quote came out almost 4x the Confused.com quotes I'd followed through.

What I was getting did not match up with what I was promised. Couldn’t get hold of the Insurer. Now left with nothing.

I tried numerous times to buy home insurance through the blue light card link with confused.com. Every time I got to the final section to pay the link wouldn’t work. Very frustrating. In the end I bought my home insurance through ‘Go compare’ as the link for confused.com just would not work. Very disappointing!

Tried several times to select the insurance company. Link took me to company sites but kept failing to transfer data. Eventually had to re-enter everything directly to end up with a different price.

Halfway through the process Halifax, to whom I had been directed shut out the buildings part . The site did not tell me so I purchased a totally unsuitable insurance. after a rigmarole with my phone got it cancelled , Go compare should not carry crooked sites.

Took several attempts to open the attached quotes. When they did open the More Than quote I wanted to purchase wouldn’t let me enter a start date. Tried this several times also and then gave up.

I will be very unlikely at present to make a recommendation to confused.com because I have been using this site for some years now and all three of my friends accounts are not accessible, technical support has been contacted and the problem is still outstanding we are not able to access our accounts.

I am in communication with Confused .com now because the rewards for purchase house insurance is very nice but I have been trying for weeks to get The £20 petrol voucher but they make it almost impossible on line.

requested to speak to an agent because I had multiple questions. i was informed the telephone lines were down and could only get feedback via on line and would have to refer to the insurers policy document.

Performance Direct offered the cheapest price which I opted for. When I called the provider they went through all the questions i had answered on the original confused submission. Then I was asked if I had any outbuildings which would cost more than £30k to rebuild. I said that I had a garage which I did not know how much it would cost to rebuild but it would probably be more than £30k, in which case, I was told, the price for my house insurance would be an additional £36, I think it was. When I queried it, saying that the question of out outbuildings had not arisen in the original questionnaire, the operator said that she had to look at another provider and that Performance Direct were only a broker, which is not what the company name suggests.

I have emailed customer service regarding the £ 20 reward and they have yet to reply. In this day and age people shouldn’t have to wait three days for a reply.
