Thought I found a competitive quote only to find once at the new insurers website there was a whole raft of additions of which added up to more than my current provider

Everything was going ahead. But because of my IVA they turned around, within a couple of hours & stopped my application. Not impressed & very angry.

The quote appeared to be lower than the one I was considering, but after buying it turned out to only be for Building insurance not Building and Contents as I assumed it to be, so I got a policy I didn’t want. There was no indication of the policy type beforehand.Fortunately I was able to cancel within 14 days.

Good easy to use Web site are all of your insurance companies fully registered and what protection is there if one of them goes bust this needs to be made crystal clear

The price quoted on confused.com is nothing like the price when you go to the insurers website. This had happened on both car and house insurance. It’s now a waste of time using confused.com

I done my first quote for home insurance and two days later when i come back to check again priced was doubled and was clearly state that i have 7 days to buy this insurance. When I send email asking question about this I never received email back. I was in the rush to buy home insurance... but I know I will not use this site again.

I was unable to complete your questionnaire as it would not allow me to put in a start date. I was also unable to purchase any insurance as payment was blocked by the need for further passwords

Web site very.slow.to react, tried to pay four times, and the site kept saying I had taken too, I literally had taken no more than 1 minute to go through the process including receiving a text reference number.

I felt I didn’t get the true picture of each house insurance I looked at. Had almost completed Nationwide insurance quote but right at the end decided to phone to makes sure everything was okay. Just as well I did, I was told all my windows ‘had’ to have locks, was also told one of my doors must have ‘two’ bolts. I’m so thankful I phoned, ended up going with my own bank.

The search on Confused.com showed some really good rates, but once I tried to use them, it turned out the rates showed were not the final values, some even 5X more and this was without changing any of the information or selecting any extras.

I use Confused for rewards, as prices are often very comparable with other search agents. However after completing the purchase I'm now unsure if I will receive my requested 'reward' as i have car insurance through you!
