My daughter bought home insurance with Privilege through Confused.com and in the email didnt give a policy number so when i tried to claim my reward it wouldnt work has i didnt have a policy number and she also hasnt received any paperwork yet.

When I tried to retrieve my home insurance quote the price jumped up dramatically and I was unable to get the quote I had saved

I was so disappointed 😞 that having got confirmation that my enquiries to nat West home insurance regarding possible claims that although not followed up as a claim I was still penalised and my premium went up from £11.75 to £15.02 per month just because it was your policy to do that...... so unfair

I've had a quotation for home insurance followed by few emails in regards to the best price however when I clicked on the link to purchase, I was forced into a new quotation which was much higher price and the original quoted price has disseapeared. Smart way of thievery!! Stay away!

I was sent a quote for £255 but when I made a couple of changes...the next days' date, removed some itemised expensive items the price jumped to over £400! Having removed the itemised items I would have expected the price to drop. I usually use Confused to buy insurance and I did end up buying from Policy Expert but not through Confused.com. Price....£205! I will now be thinking twice before using Confused again.

we have a lot of trees and the form did not allow more than 5 we had to contact hastings to clarify the situation ie we have more than 5 trees hastings only cared needed to know 1 tree was within 5 meters

The problem is, the quotes are all wrong and when you click to proceed with a quote there are always mistakes that need to be corrected and the price is never the same as the first page quote because extras have to be added that were clicked on in the info provided at the very begining. If you have not changed house how can things change?

I found the exact insurance by the same insurance company on a different site for £150.00 cheaper.

The prices quoted on the Confused website seemed appealing but when I actually went to the provider their price was almost double - certainly a lot more.

I have tried to use confused again via TopCashback site. I have at least two purchases via this route fail to honour cashback or any other offer. I have made confused aware of this and they were to come back to me, unfortunately this has not happened. I tried again today to purchase another insurance product and that failed completely so was unable to even purchase. I am getting close to forget using.

I took out a home insurance policy using your comparison quote and realised within hours (less than half a day)that I already had a policy.I rang the company called Thames bank and cancelled and they charged me £40 as admin fee and I explained to them that it was a genuine mistake and that I am not claiming from them anything as I already have a policy.They said I have clicked the terms and conditions with confused. Com and that they are entitled to charge admin fee. I sent an email to confused.com and got no reply. Also they deducted a day's insurance of another£53 for the day.I am still in touch with them regarding this.I lost a total of £93. This has left me feeling unhappy and that's why I have given a low rating.

Your system does not allow the customer to set the level of contents cover above a certain level, and so is useless....

Your log in policy is so frustrating, tried over and over again to contacts the insurers but I couldn't because I've already got account with you, tried again using my original password, still couldn't do it because apparently it was wrong password, then I clicked 'forgotten password' made new password, still couldn't get through. I gave up in the end and didn't bother to get a policy.
