I spent at least 3/4 of an hour obtaining a quote that covered all my needs, which came out at aprox. £148, however, after accepting and being transferred to the actual insurers website all sorts of items popped up as 'additional' which I am sure had already been covered in the original quote. When tallied up the total price to pay arrived at £220. The initial price quoted on Confused.com's website is only a 'come-on' to draw punters in.

The system did not allow me to transfer to the insurance providers. As I have never made a claim on contents insurance I have decided to manage without it.

Offer £20 voucher but you have to wait 14 days and faff about go get it. Ridiculous.

I have received no confirmation of cover from any of the insurers I have tried to bind cover with even though my bank has payment pending to be paid to insurers in particular Privilege Insurance and I then had an error while trying to bind another policy with LV

Confused is the correct title. You provide a quote and when I click on it the price has increased, very iffy.

Way way way too many emails reminding about taking out insurance when you already have done and through the website. Totally off putting would not recommend.

They directed me to an insurance provider called quotemehappy. Their premiums for house and contents were very good eg.v£230 for their essentials and just £232 for essentials plus. I opted for the plus. However their premium came through at £262 so I contacted confused.com They advised m e to contact quotemehappy. I have done this many times evenn send.ing them a screen shot of their advertised premium. Although my email says sent, they keep saying the screenshot has not been received. Surely they can check their records and see their advertised price at the time of sale.

I input my card details as fast as I could and the verification said something or other was too slow. I've also tried via a comparison site site told me there was a blockage. I tried to phone but all I got was a very lengthy menu questions none of which applied to me. Does your company not want my business? I'll try Sheila's wheels tomorrow!
