Price a little better than present insurer. but not enough to justify changing.

You allow misleading quotes, which are not comparable and when delved into offer cashbacks and limitations on benefits.

The 3 quotes I got where very attractive. But after contacting Admiral and working trough their whole list of questions and change of the assumed rebuilding costs I ended with a far more higher quote. The personnel where very kind but seem to follow their scheme and not your quote . So the result for me was disappointing. However the offer was better then my renewed one would be.

I was looking for insurance for a flat and found that the questions were obviously designed primarily for house dwellers and the resulting recommendations were bog-standard house buildings and contents insurance.

I put all of the details in, then the first 8 or so quotes totally missed off part of what I wanted covered. Had I trusted your site to act as expected, I would have ended up with no personal possessions covered. Quite poor really. You could say that I should always check 1st, which I did, and then spotted that your site can’t be totally trusted to get myself properly insured. Why ask a question, then ignore my answer?

I was disappointed to find that the initial quote ~I received from Confused.com was doubled by the actual lender. Thus the initial, I found the initial quote to be very misleading.

Too many different variables with home insurance. You don’t actually get accurate information on what is on offer. Avoid.

The reason for my low score is because I only wanted home insurance but before I could get it u wanted to no who is my electric with gas phone etc and it went on.

I’m not sure it worked. No confirmation and no money has been taken from bank but the Halifax site says they are preparing the policy. Confused!!!

The final product and offer from the insurance company differs from the the deal shown on confused.com website.

Poor - I entered all the information into confused, and got he quote, but the insurer were unable to pull through the details of the quote using the confused reference number. I repeated whilst I was on the phone to the insurance provider, a different reference quote number was given, yet still the insurer were unable to go pull through the details as the number did not exist. Ended up getting a quote over the phone direct with the provider.

Following purchase of the insurance policy I’ve been getting conflicting emails from confused.com. Some say thank you for insuring your home etc but others warning me I only have 1 day to go to make the purchase or I won’t be insured. Documents haven’t arrived in the post yet so wasting my time phoning round to make sure I am insured

I couldn't explain with the online choices what I actually needed. Then when I spoke to Swinton they wanted to charge me an extra £28 for one little correction.
