I went through confused.com and purchased my home insurance but never received top cashback as promised. I wouldn't have gone with them in hindsight. Annoying especially when you can't find any contact to complain to.

I tried buying the insurance from Frontier through confused.com website, only to find out that Frontier are quoting a much higher price on their website. I completed the purchase through another comparison engine website at a lower price with another provider.

Details would jot hold when input. Quotes came through with wrong details on as they would not hold in the relevant despite change and confirming save. Had to get in touch with provider for them to correct everything and transfer he payment over. Waste of time should have just gone direct to Hastings.

They work out the premium based on claims statistics gathered for others with similar details and some insurers do change their rates frequently. The information I submitted brought up a number of companies who were significantly cheaper than my renewal from LV. Most of the companies I had never heard of therefore decided to go with Aviva which I was familiar with. Confused directed me to the Aviva site where I had to fill in more details and select further options. The quote ended up about £60 more than LV which is astronomical. A waste of 90 minutes, sticking with LV for peace of mind.

I purchased my insurance via Confused.com, following a link on an email from Confused.com themselves, promoting "rewards" that you can get if you book through them. Only after having made the purchase and trying to find a way to contact them, do I realise it is in very small print that the purchase must be through their app to be able to get the rewards. It is disingenuous not to be upfront and clear in their messaging. I could have got cashback had I gone through another route, so I feel cheated.

I've had no insurance documents emailed to me. I can't remember who I insured with just 2 weeks ago. I have a coffee and Sainsbury's reward which is great but Confused can't say who my insurer is even though I have had to give them my policy number to get the rewards!

Having trouble with the rewards. Took the reward into account when considering best price, but been blocked from reward for both, car insurance and house insurance this week, apparently there is a limit to the amount of vehicles you insure (I have 4 to insure a year) and this blocks all rewards.
